The movement should be smooth without getting stuck or jerking.

This should not move

The Lever Bushing (20) and (20) and the connecting bolt should not rotate. If it rotates, loosen the bolt.

Make sure the Mold Plate (4) is (4) is level with the top of the Mold (1) when (1) when the Lever (5) is (5) is all the way down. Control that the Mold Plate (4) is (4) is level and equal height on all sides.

This should be clean and lubricated

Make sure the machine is clean and lubricated inside the Mold (1) and (1) and around the Mold Plate (4). (4). Clean and lubricate if needed.

No dirt should be on top of plates This should be clean and lubricated

Make sure that the Machine is clean and lubricated between the Guide Rails (10) and (10) and on top of the Core Lock Plates (15,16 ).

Part C - Trouble shooting

1. Machine Problems

1.1. The Lever (5) gets stuck or the movement is too heavy 1.2. The Lever (5) is too loose, have too much play or a jerky motion 1.3. The Handle Attachment (6) feels (6) feels loose and have a lot of play

2. Brick Problems   2.1. The brick is not flat, the sides have different heights

2.2. The brick sticks to the Mold (1)

2.3. The brick cracks after pressing, centerline crack 2.4. The brick height increases over time

Problem 1.1. The Lever (5) gets stuck or the movement is to heavy

Identify the part and problem

Remove the Mold the Mold Plate Plate (4) (4)

Move the Leve the Leverr (5) up (5) up and down

1. Remove the Mold Plate (4)   A.

If the the Lever (5) runs (5) runs smooth after removing the Mold Plate (4), the problem is the  the  Mold Plate (4) and/or the Cores (7,8,9). Go to: Solution 1 - Fix the Mold Plate and Cores.  Cores.

Loosen screws

Loosen the middle screws under the Core Lock Plates (15,16) to (15,16) to adjust the Center Core (7) and (7) and the Cylindrical Cores (8). (8). Loosen the screws on the side of the Mold (1) to (1) to adjust the Side Cores (9).

Make sure perfect alignment

Make sure the Cores (7,8,9)  (7,8,9) align with the holes in the Mold the Mold Plate (4), when the Piston (2) is in the top and bottom positions.

Solution 2. Fix the Guide Rails

1.

Check if dirt is stuck between the Guide Rails (10). If yes, remove the dirt and lubricate.. lubricate

2.

Loosen the screw attaching the Guide Rails (10). Align the Guide Rails (10) one at the time until the Piston the Piston (2) moves smoothly.

(10) one at the time  Align the Guide Rails (10) one

3.

Remove the Guide Rails (10) one (10) one at the time. Test if the lever runs smoothly after each removed Guide removed Guide Rail (10) to (10) to identify which guide rail is causing the problem.

4.

After identifying the Guide Rail (10) that (10) that is causing the problem, grind it to make sure it is smooth and put it back.

5.

Try to turn the Guide Rails (10) the (10) the other way or change places between the Guide Rails (10).

Remove the Guide Rails (10   ) one at the time

WARNING! Watch your hands when removing the Guide Rails (10)  (10)  so the Pisto the Piston n (2) don’t (2) don’t squeeze your hand.

Problem 1.2. The Lever (5) is too loose, have too much play or a jerky motion. Solution   1.

This problem happens because the Guiding Rails (10) are (10) are not straight or is not tight enough. Adjust the Guiding Rails (10 ) so they they are are tight tight against against the Piston (2) without (2) without play,, but still lets the Piston (2) move smoothly. play

Adjust the Guide Rails (10) so (10) so they are tight against the Piston the Piston (2)

2.

If the Lever (5) still (5) still is too lose with a lot of play the problem is that the Piston (2) is (2) is too small and does not have a tight fit against the inside of the Mold (1). If this happens take a picture or record a video, send it to Build Up Nepal and call.

Problem 1.3. The Handle Attachment (6) feels (6) feels loose and have a lot of play.

Solution   This problem is caused by wear damage to the Handle Attachment Axle (21). (21). Remove the  Handle Attachm  Handle Attachment ent Bushi Bushings ngs (22,23 (22,23)) and take a picture of the Hand the Handle le Attach Attachment ment Axle (21) and (21)  and call Build Up Nepal.
