About pattern This pattern is made for those, who knows basics of crochet, knows what Magic Ring, Invisible Decrease and Increase is, and how to sew details together. If You don’t know it, watch Youtube videos first,

or learn about crocheting, and try to crochet basic stitches and sew some crocheted details together! This pattern is written in American terms:  MR    - Magic Ring sl st – Slip Stitch sc - Single Crochet invdec - Invisible Decrease inc – Increase

Materials You'll Need: 1.Blue 1. Blue and white yarn for Cookie Monster, beige and brown for cookie (I used „Alize Cotton Gold” yarn. 55% cotton 45% acrylic. 3.53oz-

361yds (100g-330m)) 2.Crochet 2. Crochet hook (I used 1,5 mm hook, but it is smaller than size what is written on yarn label. They recommend 2-4mm. Use which is better for your fingers) 3.Stuffing 3. Stuffing 4.Yarn 4. Yarn Needle 5.Scissors 5. Scissors 6.Pins 6. Pins 7.Safety 7. Safety eyes or button-eyes (I used 10 mm safety eyes) 8.Piece 8. Eyes 2pc: Row1:

(white yarn) MR, single crochet 6 times.

(6) Don’t pull the ring tightly closed. We will insert the safety eye inside it later. Hide the beginning thread later too. Row2:

Sl st, fix and hide the thread for the back end detail and sl st, fix and leave the thread for the front end detail. Take the brown yarn and embroider the chocolate pieces on the front end detail.

 Sewing together: Sew the head to the body.

Sew the eyes to the head. I sewed the right eye to the Row10-11 of the head and the left eye to the Row9-10. 3sc to the each Row. The left eye looking upward and inward. (You can find the Cookie Monster pictures in Google and see how the eyes looks). Eyes “touch” each other –  no space between them.

Sew the arms to the body... I sewed them to the next Row from the head.

Sew the legs to the body...I sewed them to the Row7-12 of the body. Legs “look” at each other turned inwards.

Take the black felt or other cloth piece and cut the mouth out… Here is mine…

Glue it to the head… I glued it to the head this
