Black color Printing on black is not doable on customer grade printers. As colors in the printer are transparent when you print on black paper, they will not be seen. You can either use dark grey paper so you can see the lines on the paper, or use white paper and then paint it on non-printed side with black color suitable for paper. Also, if you print in a shop perhaps they can do it. In a nutshell the printer needs to have white color in addition to standard CMYK. For this model I actually printed that page on regular white paper (80gsm) and glued it to the black thick paper. Since printed pages are inside anway, nothing showed, it was only a little harder to score the lines, but since it’s just two small parts, it wasn’t much of a problem.

How to use this guide This visual assmebly guide is represented by two columns. In the left column you will see in bold, the current Step number, and also in bold part number that you will need from the template in that step. Where needed some additional comments will be present. In the right column you will have a visual representation where each part goes. Parts added in that step will often be colored differently than they are, so you can clearly see which ones are added. Also present is a blue arrow that will point “north”, since the view angle of the model will change to better show parts added. This arrow can help you with orientation for easier understanding of the picture.

BUNNY Section 1 – Base Parts needed

Visual guide

Step 1 1 Base is just one part. (Printed face should be up).

Step 2 Place the part onto the cardboard, draw the lines around it and cut the cardboard in the same shape.

Step 3 Finally, glue it to cardboard. Now we’ll create the model and glue it to the base in the very last step.

BUNNY Section 2 – Head Parts needed

Visual guide

Step 1 Right Ear 2, 3 Glue part 2 and part 3 by flap/edge number 229 first. Once that is secured, start folding and gluing other flaps from top to bottom. This way there will be enough space for your fingers to press the flaps while waiting for glue to dry. Remember to glue the flaps on the inside of the model (thus applying glue to the non-printed side of the flap). Match the flap/edge numbers while gluing.

BUNNY Step 3 Left Ear 5, 6 Same as right ear, glue flap number 305 first and then go one by one (or two if it’s easier depending if you can fold the rest to not get in the way).

Step 5 Head 8 We’ll start the head and add ears a little later.

Step 8 Right Eye 11 We’ll do the eyes separetly and then attach them to the head.

Step 1 Right Leg 23, 24 Glue part 24 to part 23 (they look angled here since that’s how they will stand once the model is done).

BUNNY Step 9 33, Right Leg Add part 33 to right leg, it’s connected by two flaps only.

Step 10 34 Add part 34 and right leg is finished.

Step 11 35, Left Leg Add part 35 to left leg (also by only two flaps)

BUNNY Step 12 36 Add part 36, this finishes the left leg.

Step 13 Right Leg, Left Leg Finally glue legs together by two flaps in the middle. Now, we’ll do the rest of the model.

BUNNY Section 4 – Body and final assembly Parts needed

Step 8 Base, Bunny In the very last step glue the base to the bunny. There will be enough space through the base for your fingers to press all the flaps. That’s it! Bunny is done!

BUNNY Section 5 – Carrot Parts needed

Visual guide

Step 1 43 Go side by side until finally reaching full circle. Something long might be needed so you can press the flaps from the inside through the hole at the top (if your finger can’t fit).

Step 2 44 Finally, glue part 44 but glue the flaps on the outside! This way you’ll be able to press them so they stick, and it will look better! Don’t use too much glue so it doesn’t mess the model :) That’s it!
