Exercises and case studies are based on Plaxis software.PLAXIS 2DAE is a user friendly computer program that is used by geotechnical engineers worldwide for deformation calculations, stability assessment and consolidation analysis. It contains special options for soil structure interaction, has a fully automatic mesh generator based on graphical input of soil-layer geometries and several features to facilitate input and analysis of complex situations. In addition PLAXIS 3D is used for the introduction into 3D finite analysis of complex problems.
