E n cada país, tierra o región, hay algo con lo que se crece y que se añora con la distancia: la comida típica. Los ecuatorianos tienen mucho de que enorgullecerse cuando se trata de cocina. Es que a pesar de ser un país pequeño, la variedad de platos que aquí se cocinan llenan varias expectativas. La variedad climática y de productos hacen del Ecuador una tierra privilegiada al momento de desarrollar fusiones. Solo para mencionar algunas de aquellas delicias, tenemos por ejemplo: en la Sierra, el hornado, la fritada, el seco de chivo, el locro de papas, etc; y en la Costa, una gran cantidad de platos a base de productos como mariscos y plátano verde como el ceviche, el arroz marinero, la cazuela de pescado, etc. Si usted quiere deleitarse con los sabores del Ecuador, tiene a su disposición restaurantes en todo el territorio nacional donde puede disfrutar de los platos más típicos del país con un servicio de primera. In each country, land or region, there is something that we grow up with and that we long for when we are away: the typical food. Ecuadorians have a lot to be proud of when talking about food. Despite being a small country, the variety of dishes here surpasses expectations. The variety of products and climates make Ecuador a privileged land when creating culinary fusions. Just to mention some delicacies, we have: in the Highlands, hornado (baked pork), fritada (fried pork), seco de chivo (goat stew), locro de papas (potato soup), etc.; and on the Coast, a great variety of dishes made with seafood and green plantain, such as ceviche, arroz marinero (seafood fried rice), cazuela de pescado (fish casserole), etc. If you wish to experience Ecuadorian flavors, there are many options throughout the country where you can enjoy traditional delicacies from around the country with first class service.
