PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE THE WARRIOR GROUP, DeSoto, Texas 2006 - 2012 Construction general contractor that builds commercial structures for government, education, health care and aviation organizations with 2006 revenues of $16 million, growing to $125 million. Chief Operating Officer Reported to the CEO/owner and was responsible for all aspects of operations, including marketing and sales, contracts, estimating, project management, safety and quality control. Reorganized operations, recruited all senior key personnel, including the CFO and CDO, as well as the senior leaders in estimating, operations and business development. Helped lead the business to grow revenue of $124 million by 2008 despite severe economic pressure. Led successful financing of secured debt and mezzanine capital that enabled the company to avoid bankruptcy and to seed accelerated growth, tripling the company’s revenue and achieving multi-million dollar EBITDA. Organized and managed field resources that by the end of 2011 profitably constructed 4 million square feet of military dormitories in four years. Acquired franchise rights and implemented all phases of start-up including planning, financing, training, recruitment and marketing and operations. TXU CORPORATION, Dallas, Texas 1986-2004 TXU COMMUNICATIONS, Irving, Texas (1997-2004) Wholly owned local phone, internet and DSL services subsidiary of TXU Corporation with revenues of $190 million. Chief Financial Officer Reported to the CEO and responsible for all aspects of the finance and accounting functions, including business and financial planning, controllership, treasury, debt compliance, audit, investor relations and corporate relations. Managed, in conjunction with the Management Committee, the $527 million sale of the company through auction, including preparation of the Offering Memorandum, management presentations, sell-side due diligence and negotiations. Directly responsible for creating $80 million in market value. Finance member of executive team which made presentations before Tier I private equity firms such as Blackstone, Carlyle, Providence and Warburg Pincus. Managed, in conjunction with TXU Corporate Treasury, the sale of $960 million of equity and debt securities. Relocated accounting operations and recruited and trained new staff in 4 months. Helped lead development of the company from 3 employees and no assets to total assets of $700 million through two acquisitions. Led the $350 million sale of TXU’s interest in PrimeCo PCS to Verizon. Director of Supply Chain, Real Estate and Facilities Management Reported to the CFO and responsible for creating a professional organization covering supply chain, real estate, facilities, and fleet management. Achieved $2 million in materials cost savings the first year. Reduced company vehicle fleet from 350 to 200. Reduced staff and inventory by 50%. Optimized the real estate portfolio and saved approximately $1 million in annual lease expense. TXU CORPORATION HEADQUARTERS, Dallas, Texas (1986-1997) $5 billion international electric and gas utility. Corporate Planning & Corporate Development Managed strategic planning and corporate development projects within the company’s startup planning and development organization, including the development of corporate and business unit goals and performance measures. Led the project that evaluated the relevance of communications to the energy industry and resulted in the company’s $220 million investment in PrimeCo’s Texas operations in 1995.
