magic ring single crochet = sc chain = ch increase = inc decrease = dec f/o = fasten off  hdc = half double crochet dc = double crochet ss = slip stitch

How to read read the the pat patte terrn:

rnd rnd x  x   we are working on round x (x sc, inc/dec) * y  y   the instructions between parentheses have to be repeated y times; (x sc, inc/dec) means we will work one single crochet in each x stitches, and then work one increase or one decrease into the next stitch. For example, (3 sc, inc) * 6 means: work one single crochet in each of the next three stitches, one increase in the fourth stitch; repeat six times  x sc, inc/dec  inc/dec   work one single crochet in each of the x stitches, then work one increase/decrease in the next stitch →

Feet (make two) start with a magic ring  rnd 1: 6 sc in the magic ring (6) rnd 2-4: 1 2-4: 1 sc in each stitch (6) f/o, leave a tail for sewing

Assembling First, we will assemble the head: for the crest, I simply attached each piece to the magic ring of  the head by tying a knot using the two tails we left for each crest. I placed the two smaller ones on the sides, and the bigger one in the center.

Place the beak on round 13 (one round below the eyes), 1 1/2 stitches from each eye

To assemble the body: counting from the last round we made, place the wings between rounds 3 and 4, approximately 10 stitches apart (considering the front).

4

Counting from the first round we made, place the tail on the seventh round, equally distant from both wings

Counting from the first round we made, place the feet on the sixth round, four stitches apart, placed equally distant from the wings

Sew the head to the body
