Great Food...Fast!
Business Opportunity
Brief description of Chic-Boy™ is a quick-service restaurant that is a "cut above" fast food, with a cult-like following. Our concept focuses on quality, variety and service. Chic-boy’s pride is its Cebu Lechon Manok and Cebu Lechon Liempo marinated and stuffed with herb and spices and charcoal broiled to juicy and tasty perfection. It’s soooo flavorful, no sauce is needed to amplify the taste! But for those who love dipping their food in sauces, our lechon manok and lechon liempo is best paired with our lechon sauce or our special vinegar sauce. Other items you’ll find in our menu are comfort foods that Filipinos enjoy. We have Chicken Inasal from Bacolod, Inihaw na Liempo, Pork Barbecue, a variety of Sisig (Lechon Sisig, Chicken Sisig, Bangus Sisig and Tuna Sisig), Soups (Sinigang, Tinola and Batchoy), Vegetables (Ginisang Kangkong, Inihaw na Talong, Ensaladang Mangga, Gising Gising), staple Filipino meriendas like Lumpiang Sariwa, Dinuguan at Puto, Pancit Canton and Palabok and Desserts such as Turones Con Leche, Leche Flan, Saba in Syrup and Ice Cream. Our food are not only delicious and savory, they are easy on the pocket too! You can enjoy meals with huge portions of chicken or pork and Rice All You Can. Chic-Boy is the perfect place to have an affordable yet delicious and fulfilling meal with your family, colleagues and barkadas. Bring home Chic-boy and share with your loved ones. It’s the perfect dish to complete your family reunions, barkada gatherings and even your company meetings and outings.
Business Profile
Chic-Boy™ which opened its first Dine-In restaurant on May 5, 2010 is a new trademark and business model of Pier One Bar and Grill Holdings Corporation, the company behind the successful Pier One Bar and Grill restaurant chain in the Philippines.
After trying the delicious and tasty lechon manok and lechon liempo of Cebu and the Chicken Inasal of Bacolod, we saw its business potential and the opportunity to tap into the lechon manok, lechon liempo and chicken inasal industry combining it with our best selling viands.
In just 1 year and 2 months since we opened our first Dine-In store in Jupiter St. Makati City, we now have a roster of 28 dine-in stores in Metro Manila and its outskirt cities to serve you and 37 franchised stores under construction.

Why is franchising best? An established company gives the assurance of less risk and better income potential. With proper supervision and marketing support from the franchisor, the franchisee would have a better chance of success than setting out on a new business venture. The greatest risk in franchising is finding the best franchise to own. That would be with the franchisor with whom you can be confident will give you the best support in terms of operations, product supply, innovation and marketing. In the recent years, there has been a significant increase in franchise business in the Philippines notably in the food industry. Looking around malls and other commercial centers, home grown concepts are dominating the local franchises with food businesses leading the pack. Food makes up an impressive 41% in the franchise sector, service establishment 32% and retail outlets, about 27%. Source: Philippine Franchise Association
Food & Beverage Industry Overview Consumer expenditures on food and beverages has increased strongly during 2001-2006 at a CAGR(compounded annual growth rate) of 9.8% and it is expected to rise at a CAGR of 7.5% from 2007 to 2011. Rise in the number of working women, longer working hours and more diverse eating habit has resulted in high consumption of freshly cooked meals. With the growing middle class population and changing lifestyle, the demand for food has increased considerably over the past few years and the annual growth rate is estimated at 1020%.
