I graduated with a Bachelor of Applied Communications, specializing in Information Design, from Mount Royal University. My less formal education can be attributed to a year in Florida, six months in Europe, two months in Africa, a Christmas in Australia, a summer in Montreal and to all of the people I’ve met along the way. This is just a sample of my work, with a more extensive client list on this page. For more detailed information on my experience or for a copy of my most recent resume please feel free to contact me. You can also get to know me online, I blog about my travels, projects and inspirations at Aesthetic of Lostness and collaboratively at There and Here.
deville Prior to opening, Deville ordered 125,000 environmentally friendly, but very plain, to go cups. These tongue in cheek stamps were developed as a cost effective solution to brand the cups, increase web traffic and tell customers more about the new cafe. This style was then carried over to in store signage, coffee cards and various other marketing materials.

In response to a change in business plan and overall brand strategy, I designed the original concept for Deville’s revamped website. In correlation with the launch of the site, I worked extensively to develop and manage the cafe’s social media marketing campaign.
STAMPEDE CONCERTS Stampede Concerts is the team responsible for organizing the international superstars who perform at the Calgary Stampede each year. I’ve worked with them to create various backstage passes as well as multiple ad campaigns for Pollstar, the concert industry’s leading trade magazine.
PARKLUXE The PARKLuxe fashion show and art exhibition is an initiative to feature local designers and professional artists who share a common, high-end target market. I worked with this not for profit group to conceptualize and art direct their inaugural campaign.
PARK PARK is a non-profit organization that aims to create opportunities for developing artists to share and profit from their art. I continue to work with this inspiring team to create marketing materials for various events and community initiatives.
CJSW An illustrated summer concert poster series, with a bit of an edge.
YYC COFFEE DISLOYALTY www.twitter.com/yycdisloyalty www.yycdisloyalty.com
YYC Coffee Disloyalty was a program I initiated to encourage and promote local cafes in the Calgary area, distributing over 2000 cards over six months. I designed all of the web and print materials and managed the social media based marketing campaign.

RAGU SPAGHETTI SAUCE The lycopene in Ragu’s spaghetti sauce helps to prevent prostate cancer. This magazine ad series graphically brings awareness to the benefits of the sauce as a way to avoid the unfortunate symptoms of this awful disease.

The final project for our graduating class was the conceptualization, development and production of an actual magazine. I was involved in creating the master style guide for the publication with regards to grid, typography and image treatment. I was also on the organizing committee for our fundraiser that brought in over $1000 to help cover printing and distribution costs.
LOST DOG POSTER SERIES A new take on the traditional lost pet poster.

In 2011 I quit my job and bought a one way ticket to London as the starting point for a seven month trip around the world. I created this travel and design blog to chronicle my journey and it continues to serve as a collection of my current projects and inspirations.

A few years ago my good friend and fellow designer, Charlotte, moved to South Africa. We created this shared blog to stay connected by comparing and contrasting our respective countries through collaborative designs.
