ELEVATOR TRIM TAB STOP BLOCKS - Inspect for damage & security. ELEVATOR TRIM TAB ACTUATOR - Check free-play limits. Refer to Chapter 27-31-00. Trim tab free play
inspection. If limits are exceeded, lubricate & recheck. If free play still exceeds limits, actuator must be overhauled or 5 replaced. (Special Inspection 3 yrs / 1000 hrs.)
RUDDER CONTROL SYSTEM RUDDER - Inspect the rudder skins for damage, cracks & loose rivets, rudder hinges for condition, cracks & security; hinge bolts, hinge bearings, hinge attach fittings & bonding jumper for evidence of damage & wear, failed fasteners & 1 security. Inspect balance weight for looseness & the supporting structure for damage.
RUDDER PEDALS AND LINKAGE - Check for general condition, excessive wear, proper rigging & operation. Check 2 for security of attachment. 3

ENGINE BAFFLES AND SEALS - Check condition & security of attachment of inner cylinder & peripheral baffling. CRANKCASE, OIL SUMP AND ACCESSORY SECTION - Inspect for cracks & evidence of oil leakage. Check
bolts & nuts for looseness & retorque as necessary. Check crankcase breather lines for obstructions, security & general 32 condition.
TURBOCHARGER (IF APPLICABLE) - Inspect turbocharger mounting bracket, ducting, linkage & attaching parts for general condition, leakage or damage & security of attachment. Check wastegate actuator, controller, oil & vent lines, overboost relief valve, & compressor housing for leakage, apparent damage, security of attachment & evidence of wear. 33 Check wastegate return spring for condition & security.
TURBOCHARGER (IF APPLICABLE) - Examine the turbocharger for burned areas, bulges, or cracks. Use a 34 flashlight & mirror in the tailpipe to examine the turbine for coking, carbonization oil deposits & turbine impellers for damage. TURBOCHARGER COMPRESSOR - Remove the inlet duct. Examine the compressor for blade condition on the 35 impeller & oil deposits in the turbocharger. Make sure the compressor turns freely. ENGINE OIL AND FILTER - Drain oil sump& oil cooler. Check for metal particles or foreign material in filter, on sump 36 drain plug & on engine suction screen. Close oil drain. Install new filter & service with appropriate grade & quantity oil.
FUEL SYSTEM INTEGRAL FUEL BAYS - Check for evidence of leakage & condition of fuel caps, adapters & placards. Using quick 1 drains, ensure no contamination exists. Check quick drains for proper shut off. 2

ACCESS COVERS, FAIRINGS AND COWLINGS - Assure their proper reinstallation. ENGINE RUN-UP - Perform an operational check of the engine, engine instruments & other systems. Inspect the engine
2 compartment following the operational check for leaks or abnormalties. Taxi check the operation of the brakes.
SERVICE BULLETINS AND AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVES MANUFACTURE SERVICE BULLETINS - Check that all Bulletins complied with at the governments request are 1 documented into the aircraft log books.
AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVES - Check that all AD's have been com plied with or determined to be not applicable 2 and documented into the aircraft log books as such.
LOG ENTRIES / FORM 337 - Ensure all maintenance record entries required by Federal Aviation Regulations are 3 completed prior to returning the aircraft to service.
This inspection check list is derived from the re quirements of the appropriate aircraft, engine and component manufactures Maintenance Manuals, Service Publications and STC instructions for continued airworthiness in compliance with FAR Part 91.409 (f)(3).
