BULATS is designed to test the language of employees who need to use a foreign language at work. It is also suitable for learners and employees on professional/business courses where foreign language ability is an important element of the course. BULATS measures candidates’ results on a scale of 1–100, which equates to CEFR Levels A1 to C2.
These 50–hour courses cover Levels B1–C1 of the CEFR and are organised into three modules: Reading and Listening (30 hours); Speaking (10 hours); and Writing (10 hours). Students can complete the entire course, or work on particular modules which are available individually.

I lived for three years in London just for improve my English and try to find a nice job for live in this beautiful European capital. Here I get in love for the language and for the way of life so I decided to live here for all my life. Cambridge practice tests helped me achieve a stepping stone level in English. They gave me an authentic sense of how the exam works and helped me build my study goals towards outstanding results. Spot-on Cambridge practice materials provide support where it matters the most. This one band scale improvement from a Modest User to a Competent User in writing was, in my opinion, largely due to a systematic preparation with the official Cambridge preparation material for IELTS, particularly those of IELTS 5 to 9, which has enabled me to become a first-year student in the University of Manchester. In 2007 I was preparing for the IELTS. The only materials I used were Cambridge IELTS Papers. The electricity was cut off after 11 pm in our dormitory. I read the books in the corridor through so many cold winter nights, with Cambridge IELTS. Finally, I scored 6.5 in IELTS, which enabled me to go to Finland to pursue my master degree study. Now I am a bilingual physics teacher in a Cambridge authorized high school. I just want to express my gratitude to the Cambridge IELTS, which helps me to realize my life’s dreams. I make some preparations for my future job. So I started to learn BEC. To begin with, listening was too difficult for me. I keep doing the exercises on the books. After a long-term exercise, I do improved a lot. What’s more, I have learnt a lot of knowledge about business and management. Later, I entered for the exam last year. Luckily, I successfully passed it. This autumn, I apply for many jobs concerning HR in a foreign company. I behaved well especially when asking the questions about the functions of an HR, it qualified me for my job.

English is a foreign language that I have always appreciated. Since I am a kid, I have been studying it and enjoying doing so. 2 years ago, my English teacher to me about the KET, so I took lessons and did it; it was a success. Then I heard about more difficult tests and I thought that it would be interesting to test my skills again, and I was able to pass the PET and the FCE! I’m really glad I could have these experiences, now I’m in an European class and it’s awesome! There is a before and after Cambridge Practice Tests in my life. When my teacher encouraged me to do the FCE exam, the Cambridge Practice Tests did the rest of the work. As a result I passed the exam and now this makes me more confident than ever before in reading, writing and speaking English. Without the Practice Tests this would not have been possible. I will always remember with affection the spring afternoons when I was doing the Practice Tests. I shall personally never, ever forget this. Thank you Cambridge Practice Tests!!! After I learned English with the practice tests, my amount of vocabulary has enlarged a lot as well as the knowledge of grammar has been improved obviously.
