LITURGY OF THE WORD
FIRST READING
Through Christ Jesus we have received the grace of apostleship to bring about the obedience of faith among the Gentiles.
A reader proclaims the first reading from the ambo.
A reading from the letter of Saint Paul to the Romans. 1:1-‐‑7 Paul, a slave of Christ Jesus, called to be an Apostle and set apart for the Gospel of God, which he promised previously through his prophets in the holy Scriptures, the Gospel about his Son, descended from David according to the flesh, but established as Son of God in power according to the Spirit of holiness through resurrection from the dead, Jesus Christ our Lord. Through him we have received the grace of apostleship, to bring about the obedience of faith, for the sake of his name, among all the Gentiles, among whom are you also, who are called to belong to Jesus Christ; to all the beloved of God in Rome, called to be holy. Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
The Word of the Lord.
R. Thanks be to God!

GOSPEL ACCLAMATION
R./
Alleluia, Alleluia
cf. Jn 14:6
Jesus Master, you are the Way Jesus Master, you are the Truth Jesus Master, you are the Life
R./
Alleluia, Alleluia
The deacon who is to proclaim the gospel bows to the Archbishop. In a low voice, he asks his blessing:
Father, give me your blessing.
The Archbishop says in a low voice:
May the Lord be in your heart and on your lips, that you may proclaim his Gospel worthily and well, in the name of the Father and of the Son + and of the Holy Spirit.
The deacon answers:
Amen.

MEMORIAL OF SAINT CALLISTUS, POPE AND MARTYR
GOSPEL
The deacon greets the assembled faithful and announces the Gospel:
The Lord be with you. R. And with your spirit.
A reading from the Holy Gospel according to St Luke. 11:29-‐‑32
R.
Glory to You, O Lord.
The deacon incenses the book and proclaims the gospel.
While still more people gathered in the crowd, Jesus said to them, “This generation is an evil generation; it seeks a sign, but no sign will be given it, except the sign of Jonah. Just as Jonah became a sign to the Ninevites, so will the Son of Man be to this generation. At the judgment the queen of the south will rise with the men of this generation and she will condemn them, because she came from the ends of the earth to hear the wisdom of Solomon, and there is something greater than Solomon here. At the judgment the men of Nineveh will arise with this generation and condemn it, because at the preaching of Jonah they repented, and there is something greater than Jonah here.”
The Gospel of the Lord.
R.
Praise to you, Lord Jesus Christ.
While the choir and the assembly repeat the acclamation, the deacon carries the Book of the Gospels to the Archbishop, who kisses it and blesses the assembly with it.
HOMILY
The Archbishop preaches the homily.

Paghahandog
Panginoon, Panginoon, naririto akong iyong lingkod. Panginoon, Panginoon, yamang ako'ʹy iniligtas, Kinalinga'ʹt tinubos.
When the Altar and the gifts have been prepared, the Archbishop takes the paten with the bread and holding it slightly raised above the altar, says:

MEMORIAL OF SAINT CALLISTUS, POPE AND MARTYR
21
Wine and a little water is poured unto the chalice, saying:
By the mystery of this water and wine may we come to share in the divinity of Christ who humbled himself to share in our humanity. The Archbishop takes the chalice, and, holding it slightly raised above the altar, says:
Blessed are you, Lord God of all creation, for through your goodness we have received the wine we offer you: fruit of the vine and work of human hands, it will become our spiritual drink.
R./
Blessed be God for ever.
The Archbishop bows and says inaudibly:
With humble spirit and contrite heart may we be accepted by you, O Lord, and may our sacrifice in your sight this day be pleasing to you, Lord God.
Next, the Archbishop stands at the side of the altar and washes his hands, saying inaudibly:
Wash me, O Lord, from my iniquity and cleanse me from my sin.

Sanctify our offerings by your blessing, O Lord, we pray, and by your grace may we be set afire with that flame of your love through which Saint Callistus overcame every bodily torment. Through Christ our Lord.
R./ Amen.

EUCHARISTIC PRAYER
The Archbishop:
The Lord be with you.
R./ And with your spirit.
V./ Lift up your hearts. R./ We lift them up to the Lord.
V./ Let us give thanks to the Lord, our God. R./ It is right and just.
It is truly right and just, our duty and our salvation, always and everywhere to give you thanks, Lord, holy Father, almighty and eternal God
For the blood of your blessed martyr Callistus, poured out like Christ'ʹs to glorify your Name, shows forth your marvelous works, by which you perfect your power in weakness and strengthen the weak to bear witness to you, through Christ our Lord.
And so, with the Powers of heaven, we worship you constantly on earth, and before your majesty without end we acclaim:
Sanctus, Sanctus, Sanctus Dóminus Deus Sábaoth. Pleni sunt cæli et terra glória tua. Hosánna in excélsis. Benedíctus qui venit in nómine Dómini. Hosánna in excélsis.

EUCHARISTIC PRAYER II
All kneel. The Archbishop, with hands extended, says:
You are indeed Holy, O Lord, the fount of all holiness.
He joins his hands and holding them outstretched over the offerings, and together with his concelebrants, says:
Make holy, therefore, these gifts, we pray, by sending down your Spirit upon them like the dewfall,
He joins his hands, and, making the sign of the cross once over both bread and chalice, says:
so that they may become for us the Body and ✠ Blood of our Lord Jesus Christ.
He joins his hands.
The words of the Lord in the following formula should be spoken clearly and distinctly, as their meanings demand.
At the time he was betrayed and entered willingly into his Passion,
He takes the bread, raising it a little above the altar, continues:
he took bread and, giving thanks, broke it, and gave it to his disciples, saying:
MEMORIAL OF SAINT CALLISTUS, POPE AND MARTYR

He bows slightly.
TAKE THIS, ALL OF YOU, AND EAT OF IT, FOR THIS IS MY BODY, WHICH WILL BE GIVEN UP FOR YOU.

In a similar way, when supper was ended,
He takes the chalice and, holding it slightly raised above the altar, continues:
he took the chalice and, once more giving thanks, he gave it to his disciples, saying:
He bows slightly.
TAKE THIS, ALL OF YOU, AND DRINK FROM IT, FOR THIS IS THE CHALICE OF MY BLOOD, THE BLOOD OF THE NEW AND ETERNAL COVENANT, WHICH WILL BE POURED OUT FOR YOU AND FOR MANY FOR THE FORGIVENESS OF SINS. DO THIS IN MEMORY OF ME.
He shows the chalice to the people, places it on the corporal, and genuflects in adoration. Then he says:
The mystery of faith.

Christ is the spouse and crowning glory of virgins. Let us praise him with joy in our voices and pray to him with sincerity in our hearts: Jesus, crown of virgins, hear us. Christ, the holy virgins loved you as their one true spouse – grant that nothing may separate us from your love. You crowned Mary, your mother, queen of Virgins – through her intercession, let us continually serve you with poor hearts. Your handmains were always careful yo love you with whole and undivided attention, that they might be holy in body and spirit – through their intercession, grant that the lure of this passing world may not distract our attention from you. Lord Jesus, you are the spouse whose coming was anticipated by the wise virgins – grant that we may wait for you in hope and expectation. Through the intercession of Saint Teresa, who was one of the wise and prudent virgins – grant us wisdom and innocence of life.

LITURGY OF THE WORD
FIRST READING
The eyes of the LORD are upon those who love him.
A reading from the Book of Sirach. 34:9-‐‑17
A man with training gains wide knowledge; a man of experience speaks sense. One never put to the proof knows little, whereas with travel a man adds to his resourcefulness. I have seen much in my travels, learned more than ever I could say. Often I was in danger of death, but by these attainments I was saved. Lively is the courage of those who fear the LORD, for they put their hope in their savior; He who fears the LORD is never alarmed, never afraid; for the LORD is his hope. Happy the soul that fears the LORD! In whom does he trust, and who is his support? The eyes of the LORD are upon those who love him; he is their mighty shield and strong support, A shelter from the heat, a shade from the noonday sun, a guard against stumbling, a help against falling. He buoys up the spirits, brings a sparkle to the eyes, gives health and life and blessing.
The Word of the Lord.
R. Thanks be to God!

R.

For steadfast is his kindness towards us, And the fidelity of the Lord endures forever.
R.

SECOND READING
NAIC, CAVITE -‐‑ 15 OCTOBER, 2013
Be renewed in the spirit of your minds.
A reading from the Letter of Saint Paul to the Ephesians 4:23-‐‑32
Brothers and sisters: Be renewed in the spirit of your minds, and put on the new self, created in God’s way in righteousness and holiness of truth. Therefore, putting away falsehood, speak the truth, each one to his neighbor, for we are members one of another. Be angry but do not sin; do not let the sun set on your anger, and do not leave room for the devil. The thief must no longer steal, but rather labor, doing honest work with his [own] hands, so that he may have something to share with one in need. No foul language should come out of your mouths, but only such as is good for needed edification, that it may impart grace to those who hear. And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, with which you were sealed for the day of redemption. All bitterness, fury, anger, shouting, and reviling must be removed from you, along with all malice. And be kind to one another, compassionate, forgiving one another as God has forgiven you in Christ. The Word of the Lord.
R. Thanks be to God!

GOSPEL ACCLAMATION
R./
Alleluia, Alleluia
Acts 5:42
All day long, both at the temple and in their homes, the apostles did not stop teaching and proclaiming the Christ, Jesus.
R./
Alleluia, Alleluia
The deacon who is to proclaim the gospel bows to the Bishop. In a low voice, he asks his blessing:
Father, give me your blessing.
The Bishop says in a low voice:
May the Lord be in your heart and on your lips, that you may proclaim his Gospel worthily and well, in the name of the Father and of the Son + and of the Holy Spirit.
The deacon answers:

GOSPEL
NAIC, CAVITE -‐‑ 15 OCTOBER, 2013
The deacon greets the assembled faithful and announces the Gospel:
The Lord be with you. R. And with your spirit.
+ A reading from the Holy Gospel according to St Luke.
4:14-‐‑22a
The Spirit of the Lord is upon me
R.
Glory to You, O Lord.
The deacon incenses the book and proclaims the gospel.
Jesus returned to Galilee in the power of the Spirit, and news of him spread throughout the whole region. He taught in their synagogues and was praised by all. He came to Nazareth, where he had grown up, and went according to his custom into the synagogue on the sabbath day. He stood up to read and was handed a scroll of the prophet Isaiah. He unrolled the scroll and found the passage where it was written: The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he has anointed me to bring glad tidings to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim liberty to captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to let the oppressed go free, and to proclaim a year acceptable to the Lord.
MASS OF NEW EVANGELIZATION
65
Rolling up the scroll, he handed it back to the attendant and sat down, and the eyes of all in the synagogue looked intently at him. He said to them, “Today this Scripture passage is fulfilled in your hearing.” And all spoke highly of him and were amazed at the gracious words that came from his mouth. The Gospel of the Lord.
R.
Praise to you, Lord Jesus Christ.
While the choir and the assembly repeat the acclamation, the deacon carries the Book of the Gospels to the Bishop, who kisses it and blesses the assembly with it.
HOMILY
The Bishop preaches the homily. A period of silence is observed after the homily.

PREPARATION OF THE ALTAR AND THE GIFTS
During the preparation of the gifts, an Offertory Hymn is sung and the altar table is prepared by the acolytes.
When the Altar and the gifts have been prepared, the Bishop takes the paten with the bread and holding it slightly raised above the altar, says:
Blessed are you, Lord God of all creation, for through your goodness we have received the bread we offer you: fruit of the earth and work of human hands, it will become for us the bread of life.
R./ Blessed be God for ever.
Wine and a little water is poured unto the chalice, saying:
By the mystery of this water and wine may we come to share in the divinity of Christ who humbled himself to share in our humanity.
The Bishop takes the chalice, and, holding it slightly raised above the altar, says:
Blessed are you, Lord God of all creation, for through your goodness we have received the wine we offer you: fruit of the vine and work of human hands, it will become our spiritual drink.
R./
Blessed be God for ever.

The Bishop bows and says inaudibly:
With humble spirit and contrite heart may we be accepted by you, O Lord, and may our sacrifice in your sight this day be pleasing to you, Lord God.
Next, the Bishop stands at the side of the altar and washes his hands, saying inaudibly:
Wash me, O Lord, from my iniquity and cleanse me from my sin.
The Bishop:
Pray, brethren, that my sacrifice and yours may be acceptable to God, the almighty Father.
R./ May the Lord accept the sacrifice at your hands, for the praise and glory of His name, for our good, and the good of all His holy Church.

Graciously sanctify these gifts, we pray, O Lord, and kindly receive our humble offering, that our bodies may become a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to you, and grant that we may serve you in newness of life, not according to the old humanity but according to your Spirit. Through Christ our Lord.

EUCHARISTIC PRAYER
The Bishop:
The Lord be with you.
R./ And with your spirit.
V./ Lift up your hearts. R./ We lift them up to the Lord.
V./ Let us give thanks to the Lord, our God. R./ It is right and just.
It is truly right and just, our duty and our salvation, always and everywhere to give you thanks, Lord, holy Father, almighty and eternal God, through Christ our Lord.
For through him you brought us to the knowledge of your truth, so that by the bond of one faith and one Baptism we might become his Body.
Through him you poured out your Holy Spirit among all the nations, so that in a wondrous manner he might prompt and engender unity in the diversity of your gifts, dwelling within your adopted children and filling and ruling the whole Church.
And so, in company with the choirs of Angels, we praise you, and with joy we proclaim:
Santo! Santo! Santo! Panginoong Diyos! Osana! Osana sa kaitaasan!

EUCHARISTIC PRAYER III
All kneel. The Bishop, with hands extended, says:
You are indeed Holy, O Lord, and all you have created rightly gives you praise, for through your Son our Lord Jesus Christ, by the power and working of the Holy Spirit, you give life to all things and make them holy, and you never cease to gather a people to yourself, so that from the rising of the sun to its setting a pure sacrifice may be offered to your name.
He joins his hands and holding them outstretched over the offerings, and together with his concelebrants, says:
Therefore, O Lord, we humbly implore you: by the same Spirit graciously make holy these gifts we have brought to you for consecration,
He joins his hands, and, making the sign of the cross once over both bread and chalice, says:
that they may become the Body ✠ and Blood of your Son, our Lord Jesus Christ, at whose command we celebrate these mysteries.
He joins his hands.

Immaculate Heart, help us to conquer the threat of evil, which so easily enters and takes root in the hearts of people today, and whose immeasurable effects already weigh down upon our country, and seem to block the paths toward the future.
Accept, O Mother of Christ, this cry, laden with the hopes and burdens, the sufferings of each one of us, and of all our people. Help us, with the power of the Holy Spirit, to overcome and conquer all sin; individual sins and the sin of the world, sin in all its manifestations. Let there be revealed once more, in our own history as a people, the infinite power of the Redemption, the power of merciful love. May it destroy the power of sin and evil among us. May it transform consciences.
May your Immaculate Heart reveal for all, in our land and through all the world, the light of hope! O Mary, Mother of Jesus and our Mother, our life, our sweetness, and our hope!
All rise. The Bishop will incense the image of the Immaculate Conception, while a short Marian Antiphon is sung.

Sun and moon and earth and wind and rain: all the world'ʹs contained in every grain. All the toil and dreams of humankind, all we are we bring as bread and wine. Turn the bread and wine, our hearts implore, to the living presence of the Lord. Blessed and broken, shared with all in need; all our hungers, sacred bread will feed.

LITURGY OF THE WORD
FIRST READING
A person justified by faith apart from the works of the law.
A reader proclaims the first reading from the ambo.
A reading from the letter of Saint Paul to the Romans. 3:21-‐‑30 Brothers and sisters: Now the righteousness of God has been manifested apart from the law, though testified to by the law and the prophets, the righteousness of God through faith in Jesus Christ for all who believe. For there is no distinction; all have sinned and are deprived of the glory of God. They are justified freely by his grace through the redemption in Christ Jesus, whom God set forth as an expiation, through faith, by his Blood, to prove his righteousness because of the forgiveness of sins previously committed, through the forbearance of God– to prove his righteousness in the present time, that he might be righteous and justify the one who has faith in Jesus.
What occasion is there then for boasting? It is ruled out. On what principle, that of works? No, rather on the principle of faith. For we consider that a person is justified by faith apart from works of the law. Does God belong to Jews alone? Does he not belong to Gentiles, too? Yes, also to Gentiles, for God is one and will justify the circumcised on the basis of faith and the uncircumcised through faith.
The Word of the Lord.
R. Thanks be to God!

RESPONSORIAL PSALM Ps 130 R.With the Lord there is mercy, and fullness of redemption. 1. Out of the depths I cry to you, O LORD; LORD, hear my voice! Let your ears be attentive to my voice in supplication. R.With the Lord there is mercy, and fullness of redemption. 2. With the Lord there is mercy, and fullness of redemption. If you, O LORD, mark iniquities, Lord, who can stand? But with you is forgiveness, that you may be revered. R.With the Lord there is mercy, and fullness of redemption. 3. With the Lord there is mercy, and fullness of redemption. I trust in the LORD; my soul trusts in his word. My soul waits for the LORD more than sentinels wait for the dawn. R.With the Lord there is mercy, and fullness of redemption.

GOSPEL ACCLAMATION
R./
Alleluia, Alleluia
Jn 14:6
I am the Way and the Truth and the Life, says the Lord; No one comes to the Father except through me.

GOSPEL
ALFONSO, CAVITE -‐‑ 17 OCTOBER, 2013
The deacon greets the assembled faithful and announces the Gospel:
The Lord be with you. R. And with your spirit.
A reading from the Holy Gospel according to St Luke. 11:47-‐‑54
R.
Glory to You, O Lord.
The deacon incenses the book and proclaims the gospel.
The Lord said: “Woe to you who build the memorials of the prophets whom your fathers killed. Consequently, you bear witness and give consent to the deeds of your ancestors, for they killed them and you do the building. Therefore, the wisdom of God said, ‘I will send to them prophets and Apostles; some of them they will kill and persecute’ in order that this generation might be charged with the blood of all the prophets shed since the foundation of the world, from the blood of Abel to the blood of Zechariah who died between the altar and the temple building. Yes, I tell you, this generation will be charged with their blood! Woe to you, scholars of the law! You have taken away the key of knowledge. You yourselves did not enter and you stopped those trying to enter.” When Jesus left, the scribes and Pharisees began to act with hostility toward him and to interrogate him about many things, for they were plotting to catch him at something he might say.”
The Gospel of the Lord.
R.
Praise to you, Lord Jesus Christ.
HOMILY
The Bishop preaches the homily.

GENERAL INTERCESSIONS The Bishop:
My brothers and sisters, we are full of thanksgiving, on the last day of our Conference. Let us pray to him with all our hearts.
Cantor: Let us pray to the Lord.
R./ Lord, hear our prayer. (sung)
1. That the Church may live more faithfully the vocation and mission as a community of Christ’s disciples with a faith that does justice, a faith that liberates, a faith that is joyfully celebrated and effectively shared even in moments of difficulties, pressures and trying circumstances. Let us pray to the Lord.
2. That we may be authentic in our commitment to becoming a Church of the Poor, we may seek to be evangelically poor and liberate ourselves from mentalities, values, behaviors and lifestyles that discriminate against the materially poor and help create conditions in which the poor are heard and can enjoy the blessings of God’s creation. Let us pray to the Lord.
136
ALFONSO, CAVITE -‐‑ 17 OCTOBER, 2013
3. That our clergy may seek to promote the formation of a Community of Disciples that is a Church of the Poor and a lifestyle that truly witnesses to the heart of the Good Shepherd. Let us pray to the Lord.
4. That our lay people may use and cultivate their gifts and charisms for the fulfillment of their role as responsible agents of renewal and transformation of society. Let us pray to the Lord.
5. That our families may foster the integral faith formation of children, youth and parents in order to recognize that the family is the origin of many cultural distortions that lie at the root of our problems as a people and recognize their vocation as agents of proclaiming the Gospel. Let us pray to the Lord.
6. That the growth and strengthening of Basic Ecclesial Communities and other forms of faith-‐‑communities as vehicles of renewal be nurtured with structures of integration, coordination and participation. Let us pray to the Lord.
7. That the Church may journey with the youth by engaging in dialogue with them, by striving to enter their world and by affirming their gifts and immense capacity to pursue the Christian ideal. Let us pray to the Lord.
MEMORIAL OF ST. IGNATIUS OF ANTIOCH, BISHOP AND MARTYR
137
8. That we may undertake our renewal efforts in fidelity to Jesus will for unity among believers, strive to eradicate prejudices and to grow in deeper understanding and appreciation of other ecclesial communities and religious traditions, engage in a dialogue of life, faith, prayer and common action with them. Let us pray to the Lord.
9. That we may respond to the challenge that Filipinos become “the foremost missionaries for all of Asia” in the third millennium and ensure that mission animation and formation will be integral toreligious formation in the family, schools and other institutes of formation. Let us pray to the Lord.
The Bishop says:
O God, who so loved the world that you sent your only Son though we were still sinners, in you we place our confidence as we commend ourselves to your goodness and mercy, through Jesus Christ our Lord.
R./ Amen.

The words of the Lord in the following formula should be spoken clearly and distinctly, as their meanings demand.
For on the night he was betrayed,

He himself took bread, and, giving you thanks, He said the blessing, broke the bread and gave it to his disciples, saying:

He shows the consecrated host to the people, places it on the paten, and genuflects in adoration. He continues:
In a similar way, when supper was ended, he took the chalice, and, giving you thanks, he said the blessing, and gave the chalice to his disciples, saying:
He bows slightly.
TAKE THIS, ALL OF YOU, AND DRINK FROM IT, FOR THIS IS THE CHALICE OF MY BLOOD, THE BLOOD OF THE NEW AND ETERNAL COVENANT, WHICH WILL BE POURED OUT FOR YOU AND FOR MANY FOR THE FORGIVENESS OF SINS. DO THIS IN MEMORY OF ME.
He shows the chalice to the people, places it on the corporal, and genuflects in adoration. Then he says:

The Bishop, with hands extended, says:
Therefore, O Lord, as we celebrate the memorial of the saving Passion of your Son, his wondrous Resurrection and Ascension into heaven, and as we look forward to his second coming, we offer you in thanksgiving this holy and living sacrifice.
Look, we pray, upon the oblation of your Church and, recognizing the sacrificial Victim by whose death you willed to reconcile us to yourself, grant that we, who are nourished by the Body and Blood of your Son and filled with his Holy Spirit, may become one body, one spirit in Christ. One of the concelebrants:
May he make of us an eternal offering to you, so that we may obtain an inheritance with your elect, especially with the most Blessed Virgin Mary, Mother of God, with Blessed Joseph, her spouse with your blessed Apostles and glorious Martyrs with Saint Lorenzo Ruiz and Saint Pedro Calungsod and with all the Saints, on whose constant intercession in your presence we rely for unfailing help.

Humayo’t Ihayag Humayo'ʹt ihayag (Purihin Siya!) At ating ibunyag (Awitan Siya!)

PRAYER
The Bishop:
Lord Jesus, You have revealed the depth of your love on the cross. You have continued to reveal yourself to the Disciples on the road to Emmaus. We thank you for having become a pilgrim with us as we gathered for the First National Conference of Catholic Cultural Centers. You have come to meet us on the paths of life. You have not left us to ourselves. You have challenged us with your inspiring and demanding Gospel. But above all, you have entered our hearts. You have walked beside us as a patient friend. You have sealed our friendship by breaking bread with us. You have made our hearts burn because we have recognized you as the Messiah, the Savior of all. By doing this, you have entered into us asking us to share in your work.

And now we ask you to remain with us. You are always with us, even though we do not always remain near you, even though we do not always abide in you. This is why we fail to be witnesses of your presence among our brothers and sisters. Lord Jesus, We ask you: help us to remain always with you, to be united to you with all the fervor of our heart, to carry out gladly the mission you have entrusted us, to extend your presence, and to be heralds of your resurrection. Stay with us, Lord. Teach us and help us to stay with you.
R./ Amen.

ENTRUSTMENT OF THE CROSS
Fr. Leo N. Balaguer, Chairman of the Diocesan Commission on Culture, proceeds to the presider’s chair and kneels before the Presider: The Bishop:
My dear People of the Diocese of Legazpi, as we close the First National Conference of Catholic Cultural Centers I entrust to you the sign of our bond: the Cross of Christ. Carry it as a symbol of His love for humanity and announce to everyone that only in the death and resurrection of Christ can we find salvation and redemption.
Fr. Balaguer:
Your Excellency: In the name of The Most Rev. Joel Z. Baylon, the clergy and religious of the Diocese of Legazpi and the people under our pastoral care we accept with humility this cross as we anticipate with joy our next meeting in the Diocese of Legazpi. May Mary, Our Lady of Salvation, and Pope Saint Gregory the Great intercede for us and with us until our next gathering.

LUMINA PANDIT
The faithful will light their candles. Then, the presider shall say:
The light we now bear is a symbol of Christ, the Light of the World. We received this light in baptism and were entrusted to keep this light burning brightly. We vowed to spread this light when we were confirmed. We were charged to keep the flame of faith alive in our hearts. We are to walk always as children of the light. My dear brothers and sisters, let us spread the light, lumina pandit. Let us now renew our commitment to spread the light of Christ, to tell the world of God'ʹs story, to tell the world of his love.

ALFONSO, CAVITE -‐‑ 17 OCTOBER, 2013
The choir shall then sing the song:
Tell the World of His Love
Tell the World of His Love For God so loved the world He gave us His only Son Jesus Christ our Savior His most precious one He has sent us His message of love And sends those who hear To bring the message to everyone In a voice loud and clear
Let us tell the world of His love The greatest love the world has known Search the world for those who have walked Astray and lead them home Fill the world'ʹs darkest corners With His light from up above Walk every step, Every mile, Every road And tell the world, Tell the world of His love.
