Other Variables (Not verified by me) L_WILSON_LAN=1 - Access to Wilson's spline curves TAILLE_MEMOIRE_CHOISIE=1 - Optimize IGES export memory MM_NO_REPLACE = 1 - Associatively about replacement of components cloned with different PRINT_WITHOUT_DEPTH=1 - remove the mask from the text on the print (only in V5R10) MFG_MULTI_MP_APPLY = 1 - multi instantiation of the manufacturing process MFG_CATMFG_REMOVE_MOTION_TOOL_CHANGE = 1 - remove the GOTO X Y Z during tool change in APT file V5MEM=7 V5MEM is a variable that is used on UNIX system to make CATIA V5 use more RAM than 1Go. In fact, it is limited to use 1 Go on every system. To use more than this, you must refer to the program directory to know how to make it use more: I just know that on AIX, you can use 2 Go , on HP_UX, 3 Go To use it on AIX, you must open the file : /usr/lpp/X11/xservsc Put at the end of the file the line : "EXTSHM = ON EXPORT EXTSHM" And in your environment file , put the variable "V5MEM = X" where "X" is the number of 256Mo RAM --> If you want to use 2 Go of RAM, you put V5MEM=8 With V5MEM = 7 you use 1.75 Go
