Mr.Sashidar gave his best and worked efficiently to keep up to the promises he made at the time his interview. In the year 2002 he joined the company and was very well welcomed by the organization. Mr.Sashidar was comfortable with the culture of the organization, Superior-Sub ordinate relationship and was happy with this opportunity but this happiness did not last long when he understood the actual picture of company, management, the superior subordinate relations, rate of employee turnover, especially at higher level which was not an pleasant issue. But he decided to stay on as he has promised several things to the management in the interview. To prove the company his potential Mr. Sashidhar worked more hard and this gave the message to the organization how competent he is and they over loaded Mr. Sashidhar with a lot of work. This interfered Mr.Sashidar work-life balance and affected his personal life but he handled it with calm . Again this gave the organization a wrong image that he can handle more responsibilities. One fine day Mr.Sashidar resigned his job.

1. The recruitment policy of Uptron Electronics is wrong because of the following reasons  

The recruitment policy of Uptron Electronics Ltd was very vague and did not provide job description of the position. The main attraction of the job was the package offered by the company. Most of the candidates got attracted by the big number instead of looking into the company’s reputation and the way they treat their employees.

2. Mr. Sashidhar resigned his job within a period of 2years surprised the General manager due to the following reasons : 

When Mr.Sashidar worked hard to prove himself and produced excellent results the company took the advantage and over loaded him with more work and Mr. Sashidhar did not protest or regret but worked.  When he was ill treated by his colleagues and supervisors were they assigned him all their work, Sashidhar did not stop and say o but just complied with them and worked.  When Sashidhar’s work- life balance was disturbed due to this, he handled it with calm and compose. All this gave the organization an image that Mr. Sashidhar was enjoying his work and was pleased with his work; hence he would not resign at such short period of time. Conclusion To conclude the company should not only be capable of recruiting efficient candidates like Mr.Sashidar but should also be able to satisfy them with monetary as well as non monetary awards and rewards. Should not over load one particular employee with loads of work, this disrupts the employee’s work-life balance. The organization should take preventive measures to retain competent employees like Mr. Sashidhar.
