Case Study Brent Civic Centre Due to the planned opening of the new Brent Civic Centre in the spring of 2012, Willerby Landscapes were challenged in the January to deliver a quality hard and so landscaping scheme within 12 weeks, comprising of over 1440m2 Pallas paving, 567m of granite ses, 500m of stainless steel edging, security planters and street lights. So landscaping included 70 Pleached Tilia Europea trees.
Over 4,500 plants, 8,000 bulbs were installed contribung to BREAAM excellent status.

Landscapes had to ensure close collabora on with all trades on site. By implemenng a pro‐acve approach to the project, phasing the works and by adopng innovave techniques, Willerby were able to show leadership and deliver on me without compromising on quality.
The project being a half podium concept; a wedding garden covering the entrance to the car park, was built as it was being designed. Willerby Landscapes took the outline design, formulated and presented mock ups of various concepts and design changes for client approval and even engineered the concrete fill by using a diff erent but compliance spec to pump the concrete, thus making the job quicker.

Addionally over 4,500 plants, 8,000 bulbs and the installaon of a water feature and irrigaon system along with internal trees and Ivy panels, also had to be completed within the 12 weeks of the project.
