X - If ROB is less than 0.1%, and purging (if required) is effective, cargo may be loaded directly on top without washing. To be confirmed by Teekay.
Product not to be loaded unless specific instructions have been issued by charterers and accepted by Teekay.
- Tanks that have been washed for the carriage of these products must have a final wash with fresh water followed by Notes 2, 3 & 4. Additional preparation may be needed including removal of any residues from the tanks.
- Tanks that have been washed for the carriage of these products might require a final LUB - To ensure minimum grade to grade admixture, tanks to be wash with fresh water followed by Notes 2,3 & 4; To be verified with Charterers and/or stripped dry, pump column and deck lines to be blown and drained. Terminal. Tanks to be visually inspected to ensure minimum ROB. 1) Depending on the nature of previous cargo tanks might require a cold water wash prior to being washed with hot water. 2) Tanks to be stripped dry such that any liquid ROB is confined to the pump well. - or better 3) Pump columns, deck lines, drops are to be educted (or blown for framo pumps) clear, and drained free of all product and water. 4) Decklines loading drops and cross over lines must be thoroughly washed and drained. 5) The above table shall be used as guidance.
