Crosslinked semi-conducting conductor shield, insulation and semi-conducting insulation shield are extruded over a solid or stranded aluminum or copper conductor and cured in a single operation. An uncoated copper wire shield (helically applied), polyester separator tape and extruded black PVC jacket are applied over the cable core.

Conductor: When copper conductors are supplied, they are annealed, uncoated concentric stranded. Sizes  #4 AWG to 500 kcmil are compact stranded. Sizes 600 kcmil to 1000 kcmil are compress stranded. When aluminum conductors are supplied, they are 1350 Aluminum concentric stranded. Sizes #4 AWG AWG to 1000 kcmil are compact stranded.

Conductor Shield: Extruded semi-conducting thermosetting polymeric stress control layer.

Insulation: COPPER CONDUCTOR COPPER WIRE SHIELDED 15kV POWER CABLE

Insulation Shield: Extruded semi-conducting thermosetting layer, clean and free stripping from insulation.

Metallic Shield: Helically applied annealed solid bare copper wires with a lapped non-metallic tape serving as a binder/ separator.

Jacket: Black, non-conducting, FT1, low temperature PVC.
