However, because of human introduction, directly or indirectly, of substances into the marine environment, our waters become polluted and undrinkable. Over the years, water refilling station is considering one of the fast expanding businesses in Laguna. It’s mushrooming on every street corner, because a lot of people in urban areas prefer to get their drinking water from these water stations, its simply clean and safe to drink. Because of high demand of cleaner water, starting a waters refilling station business becomes one of the most promising and profitable business today. IV. Description of the Venture A. Product (s) Qualidrops produces purified water that undergoes a quality simultaneous treatment of water purification process. It eliminates chemical and natural characteristic of water that may somehow cause intoxication to the one taking it. The business offered B. Production Plan/ Technical Plans Under this plan will discuss the feasible combination of manufacturing process, physical plant, machinery and equipment to be used and the names of the supplier of the raw materials.

A. Manufacturing Process Water purification process is simply a way to take water from source and remove the impurities that are inherent in it. There are many different processes that are involving a number of different techniques to treat the water. The water treatment and purification system used by qualidrops consist of eighteen(18) stages process period. It is an advance technological system designed for the water refilling station, there by producing high quality water at a minimal cost. Physical Plant Plant Layout Qualidrops will occupy a total land area of 50 square meters composed of square meters for the building and facilities, and allowance of one meter each 3 sides of the entire premise which will serve as the parking area for the customer (front) and path way to stock room (side). Another one meter allowance at the back will be used as dirty kitchen and laundry area for tenants. Floor Plan: The water station will consist of five main areas, which will carefully design for the proper operation of the business. Functional Areas and Facilities: The floor plan composed of mainly 5 functional spaces there would be reception area waiting for the customers. Seats and ventilating equipments are provided for there convenience. Purifying systems and equipments will be located at the processing area. The entire space is enclosed with glass window and doors for sanitary purposes. Air conditioning unit are installed to avoid over heating of the equipment. Extension phone is also provided for easy access of customers and outside calls.

Manager area will be used exclusively by the managers in conducting her task. Manager’s desk with built –in safety drawers is placed to secured necessary files and documents, as well as the safety box for cash revenues of the store. Bottles, caps, seals, levels, and other store and office supplies are all kept on their respective shelves in the stock room. For the stay-in employees, a separate room is provided for their personal undertakings and privacy after business hours. Double deck, dinning tables and chairs and orbit fan are place inside the room for tenants’ use. Adjacent from tenants room is the dirty kitchen and laundry area, this is also available for their use. These Facilities are of course under some rulings and restrictions to avoid abuse and misuse. Toilet and bathroom is also part of the entire building layout.

C. Machinery an Equipments The Machinery and Equipments to be used by Qualidrops will be purchased as packages from F.D. Medina Corporation the eighteen stages diamond series packages will cost P370,000 free of installation and test-run charges. The equipment has maximum production capacity of 2,000 gallons per day. The water purifying equipments are ready to operate after installation and test run. Monthly expenses are necessary for the maintenance of some equipment items and parts.
