ORIGIN OF BUS BOD BODY Y BUILDING  In

the year year 1952 LG.Balakrishnan LG.Balakris hnan started LGB Coach .  Gained the knowledge of this process from G.D.NAIDU G.D .NAIDU who dismantled dismant led a bus,bought from foreign.  In TamilNadu TamilNadu Karur was considered as its origin place.  In 1972 the employees employees & workers workers scattered from LGB & started their own coaches. coaches.  Karur is considered as suitable place because required raw materials availabilit availabilityy is more.

PROBLEMS OF MANAGEMENT No labour flow f low though demand is is tremendous. Mechanisation is not possible due to non-standardisation. Training of employees should be b e done mostly by companies.  Associations are strengthening only at recent times.

 Association of Bus body body builders builders exist to bring unity  among companies. They even arrange arrange foreign trips tri ps for industrial industri al visit to members at their the ir own own expenses.  As associations are not functioning effectiv effectivee CLUSTERS are formed by interested groups. CLUSTERS are planned to be helpful helpfu l through subsidies.
