About TKM MAESTRO LTD.
Incorporated in 2002, TKM Maestro is a young Turnkey Solutions provider for Telecommunication and Infrastructure Projects providing integrated solutions for all aspects of Planning, Installation, Design and Construction. TKM is a Multi-Disciplinary practice of Engineers and Consultants with capability to work on Large Complex Projects. TKM provides Design - Build Turnkey Solutions to major Private and Public Corporations and has a dedicated Engineering Design Department supporting and Supervising the Construction Division and Telecom Teams. Our principal Design tools are Computer Aided Design and simulation methods to provide innovative, cutting edge solutions in the Spheres of Structural Design, Construction and Value Engineering. TKM is expanding Regionally with a Regional Offices in Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda, Accra, South Sudan and Congo DRC. (Hon) U.O.N Civil Engineering. Holder of a PHD in Structural Engineering, specializing in Steel and Composite Analysis and Design, with exceptional Computer Design Skills, fluent Japanese speaking and reading ability and experience in Structural Design in Japan. Profile Researcher who has published 18 papers in recognised Engineering Journals, lectures Structural Engineering and Design at University. He is a a leading expert in the Structural Design of Self Supporting Lattice Towers and Telecom Infratsructure. In the last 4 years, he has developed unique Tower Designs now in use in Kenya (Safaricom, Orange, Popote Wireless, Flashcom Ltd), and the greater region (Warid Telecom-Uganda, Ghana Telecom - GT, Electricity Company of Ghana ECG, Pz Cussons). He is highly experienced in the area of site supervision having been the TKM resident Supervising Engineer for the GEMTEL South Sudan - Huawei Technologies GSM Project Rollout. He was leading the TKM Supervising Engineering Team, that is providing specialised Engineering and Project Management Services for the MILLICOM Huawei GSM Project in Congo DRC. Tower Design
Led by Dr Eng. Monda, TKM has developed original Structural Tower designs widely adopted in the region by Telecommunication providers including Safaricom, Orange, Warid Telecom, Popote Wireless, Ghana Telecom, Flashcom, among others.
Site Design
The Design Team undertakes Site Surveys, developing Site Designs for BTS sites, coordinating Geotechnical Soil Survey, Radio Planning and Site Acquisition teams, to ensure accurate and efficient designs are generated.
Structural Design + Evaluation of Buildings
Development of Analysis Models from Architectural concepts and generating Structural Drawings, is undertaken by the Design Team from Project inception, to completion.

Safaricom Ltd: 90 Safaricom Sites Fuelled: Fueling of over 90 newly constructed BTS Site for Safaricom by TKM Maestro between, 2006 -2009 within the tight budget and timelines. Orange Kenya: 200,000 Liters of Diesel Per Month, Orange Kenya: The TKM Maestro Maintenance Division has been Contracted by Orange Kenya to supply 200,000 liters of Diesel Fuel Per Month to 250 BTS Sites in the entire Rift Valley, Nyanza and Western Kenya Region. TKM Maestro has been achieving the strict targets and timelines on this Contract. (See Appointemnt letter from Orange to TKM Maestro in our Technical Documentation). Alcatel Kenya – Orange Project: 50,000 Liters of Diesel Per Month, Alcatel Kenya: The TKM Maestro Maintenance Division has been Contracted by Alcatel Kenya to supply 50,000 liters of Diesel Fuel Per Month to newly Constructed Orange BTS Sites in Rift Valley, Nyanza and Western Kenya Region. Erection and Site Construction. Location: New Muthaiga School Rooftop, Nairobi.
TKM has Designed, Manufactured, Fabricated and erected this 21 meter Rooftop Tower for EM Communications, a CDMA Fixed Wireless Communications provider currently rolling out its Network nationally.
Apart from Design and Manufacture of the Tower, this has involved Rooftop Site Survey, Structural Analysis to determine Existing Building Capacity to sustain expected additional loads, and Design of Rooftop Tower support system integrated into existing Building frame.

Comprehensive Structural Audit and Assessment of Structural Capacity of Towers TKM Design Team, led by DR. Monda, carried out complete Structural evaluation of ALL Towers and Monopoles in the RWANDATEL Network, to establish: The current Equipment carrying Capacity of the Towers and Poles + Remedial Engineering retrofitting Solutions to unstable/unsafe Towers and Poles. LATTICE TOWER DESIGN Project: Development of Tower Profiles and Structural Design of Lattice
Towers TKM Design, led by DR. Monda, has developed unique Tower Designs formulated from basic Modular Tower profiles that have been modelled in 3D, and simulated in STAAD Pro Analysis Software. The generated Designs have been optimised and modified regularly to create efficient Towers that lend themselves to simple manufacturing process. The Towers range from 21 meter Rooftops to 90 meter 3-leg Tubular Towers and 70 meter 4 leg Angle Towers. We continue to continuously refine and improve our Tower Designs. TKM Design has developed and grown a comprehensive Tower database that is a fertile resource base for TKM. The Designs have achieved significant cost savings and performance milestones for Telcom providers, due to their unique profiles researched over the past 3 years, and have been presented at the annual I.E.K International Engineering Conference.
