BROKEN PROMiSES Selena Gomez is a fun, bubbly, pretty, nice, and sweet girl. She's 12 at the start of the story. She's a kind daughter, and friend. She's so nice when people are also nice to her but she knows her limit in being nice. When she thinks a person has gone too far, she fights back. Well, that's Selena Gomez in our story.

Justin Bieber here is not a celebrity. He's just a normal teenage guy who moved to Louisiana because of his family there. He's also nice, cute and friendly.

Emily is Selena's cousin-bestfriend who had her vacation on Louisiana but went back to Iowa, where she lives. Mitchel Brenda Jason and Monique are their friends at home.

here goes the story.

[In Louisiana] *Children playing outside* Emily: Hey. Mitchel, who's that guy you're with? Mitchel: Oh, uh- He's Justin, the new guy here. Brenda: New guy? Mitchel: I'll give you the floor Justin. Justin: [smiles] I'm Justin, Christian's cousin. Emily: really? Justin: Yeah. Emily: Ok, then, I'm emily. Brenda: Brenda [smiles] Jason: Hey, I'm Jason. [smiles] Monique: Hi Justin, I'm Monique. Nice to meet you. Justin: Nice to meet you too. [Sees Selena sitting on a bench] Hey, who is she?

*All look to where he's looking*

Emily: Oh that's Selena, my bestfriend here who is also my cousin. Justin: Oh alright, thanks. [still staring at her] Emily: Why? [Justin still staring at Selena] Mitchel: Justin! [Brenda snaps a finger in front of his face] Justin: What? Monique: why are you asking? Justin: Just wanna know. Emily: Crushing on her? [brings up a teaser smile] Justin: No?! Jason: If you say so. Wanna join us playing?

Justin: No, maybe later. Emily: Alright. Come on guys, let’s play. [Justin sits beside Selena] Justin: Hi. [smiles] Selena: [looks up to him] uh- hi? Justin: You're Selena right? Selena: Who are you? Why are we talking and how'd you know my name? Justin: Hey, calm down. I'm Justin, Christian's cousin. They told me your name. Selena: Oh, okay, You seem nice. [smiles] Justin: Thanks. [smiles] Selena: where's your house? Justin: I live at Christian's house. Selena: Why'd you move here? Justin: I don't know, my mom wants me to stay here. Selena: 'Til when? Justin: Why? You want me to move out already? Selena: Absolutely! Yes. [smiles] [her head bowed] [Justin didn't respond and he looked directly at her] *Selena looks at him too. Directly in his eyes (eye to eye contact!!)* Selena: Uhmm, I uh- I w..was just kidding. Justin: I thought you were serious. Selena: [laughs] No, that's.. just how I talk. So how long will you stay here? Justin: I don't know but I think I will study here this year. Selena: Really? Where? Justin: Lake Monroe High Selena: I study there. Justin: Then I guess we'll be schoolmates. Selena: Yeah. [the others who are playing saw them talking and laughing] Emily: Hey guys, look! Brenda: What? Where? Emily: There! Selena and Justin are talking. Jason: wow, I thought Selena's in a bad mood today. Emily: Yeah, and that's why she's not playing with us??! Mitchel: he actually made her laugh. Emily: Nice. Brenda: Hey, Justin! Not crushing on her huh? Monique: Well, I think you just lied? Selena: [to Justin] Don't mind them. They're just teasing you on a way like they're joking. Justin: Sure. Selena: [to playmates] Stop it. Monique: crushing on him. Selena: Hey! Emily: tell us, Selly. Selena: I said Stop it. Justin; [to Selena] Selly?

Selena: Yeah, that's what they call me. Justin: Can I call you that? Selena: Sure you can. You're my friend now, right.? Justin: A friend? Really? Selena: Yeah! You can't call me Sel or Selly unless you're my friend. Justin: Just a friend? Selena: What? [she heard it but pretended she didn't] (smiles) Justin: Huh? I said thanks.. Selena: Oh, you're welcum. Justin: Phew! Selena: Why? Justin: Nothing. Why aren't you playing? Selena: I don't feel like it. I rather sit here and talk to you than play there. Justin: [smiles] really? You're choosing me over them? Selena: Yeah, cause I wanna spend more time with you for now so I can get to know you. Justin: oh, alright. [Allyson (Selena's 'lil sister) calls her.] Allyson ; Sel! Mom's calling you. Selena: Sure. Go! Just a minute. *Allyson goes inside* Justin: Who is that? Selena: She's Allyson, my 'lil sister. Justin: You have a sister? Selena: Uh-yeah! Why? Justin: Nothing, I thought you're an only child. Selena: Well now you know. [laughs] Justin: [laughs] yeah. Hey, I guess you should get going. Your mom's calling you right? Selena: right. Kay see ya later. [Selena stands up and as she made her first step, Justin grabbed her hand] Selena: Yeah? Justin: Huh? Selena: What? Justin: Oh, nothing, just wanna know if you'll come back? Selena: I don't know. But I'll try. Why are you asking? Justin: No reason. Just asking. Selena: okay. Justin: Go now. Selena: uh---Justin: What? Why are you still here? Selena: I’ll go but can I ask you something first? Justin: What? Selena: How could I go if you're still holding my hand? Justin: What? Huh? [sees his hand holding Sel's then removes his hand from it] Oh! I'm sorry. Really sorry. Selena: [laughs] It's okay. Justin: Why did you laugh? Selena: Cause you're so funny. [smiles] well, this time, I can go now. [laughs] bye. See ya later.

Justin: Okay. See ya. Selena: [to the others] guys, I'll just go home. All: Kay! [Sel went inside and came back after 10 mins.] Selena: Hey guys. Emily: Hi! Wanna play? Selena: Uh-, no thanks. Emily: Oookay. Selena: Uhmm, where's Justin? Monique: Why are you asking? (smile) Selena: Nothing. Cause were not yet done talking. Emily: Really? No other reason? (voice of a teaser, smiles) Selena: No! None. Jason: He left 5 mins. ago. Brenda: but we still do not believe that its the only reason. [teaser smile] Selena: Okay, if that's what you want but I am telling the truth. Emily: okay. (smile) Selena: Hey, I'll go home again and maybe I'll be back later. But I'm not sure. Monique: kay, we'll just wait for you. [Selena started walking] Emily: And we'll tell that to your beloved Justin. Selena: Hey! I heard that!! Emily: Just kidding! *Many days have passed and they are all getting closer and closer. Selena and Justin are being teased by their friends about crushing on each other [which is really true!] but they deny it. Because of this, Selena thought that Emily told them her secret but she didn't get mad at Emily. Sometimes, Selena gets irritated so she becomes rude in some ways esp. to Emily and Justin.

*One day, while the others are playing, Selena is in a bad mood so she didn't join them. She just sits and watches them but she has a face that no one would be able to paint even the greatest painter in the world. [that's an expression] Justin came out of his house and approached Selena.

Justin: Gomez! [Justin prefers to call her by her surname than her first name sometimes] [Selena didn't respond] Justin: Gomez!!!!! Selena: Oh! Gosh! Bieber! What!?!? Justin: Nothing. Your mind is flying. Its like you're thinking so deep. What is it? Guy? Is it your boyfriend? Selena: You know what? You really destroy my moment. If you don't have something good to say, just shut up okay? Justin: Wow. Why are you like that? Why so serious huh? Gomez? Selena: its not your business anymore. Justin: Okay! What is it? What is it? What is it? Selena: Ugh! You get so annoying sometimes! Justin: if you don't want to be annoyed, then just tell me. What's bugging you? Selena: Fine! Its about my boyfriend! Happy? [Then Selena left and went to a place where she can think and relax. A place which only she knows]

--Meanwhile, at Justin's case..—

Emily: Hey! Justin. How's it going with Selly? Justin: What do you mean? Emily: Nothing. Tell us, what's happening between you two? Justin: Nothing. Emily: Okay, but why are you lonely? [The others went up to them] Justin: No, I'm not. Emily: Yes you are! Right guys? He looks sad? All: YES! Mitchel: yeah Justin, You look sad Monique: What happened? Really? Emily: You're definitely not like that earlier. Brenda: Yeah. Jason: Oh! know why. All: WHY? [looked at Jason] Jason: It's because of Selena. Right? [looks at Justin] Justin: WHAT? Emily: Say it! Justin: Fine. Its true. Its because of her. Mitchel: Why? What happened? What did she tell you? Justin: I asked her what her problem was 'cause she looked so down. She got annoyed and she told me its because of her boyfriend. Emily: She told you that? Justin: Yeah [nod's] Brenda: You Jealous? Emily: Obviously yes. Jason: You like her already? Justin: I don't know. Maybe. Emily: But hey, don't worry. I guess what she said wasn't true. Mitchel: You sure? Emily: No, but she hasn't told me that she was or is being courted by someone so it's impossible for her to have a boyfriend, and for you all to know, she's an NBSB, she has No Boyfriend Since Birth. So don't worry Justin. Monique: Really? But why has she said that? Emily: That! I don't know. Justin: Okay guys, thank you. You all go play again. I'll be alright. Jason: Don't you wanna join us? Justin: Nah! I'll just walk. Monique: You sure? Justin: Yep. Wonder where my feet will lead me to. Hope it's somewhere wonderful. Emily: Okay. Take care. Justin: Sure.

*Justin walked and walked until his feet felt tired and he was lead to the place where Selena went. He saw Selena crying but he didn't disturb her, instead, he went home already. *the next day*

Justin: Hey Sel. Selena: Hi. Justin: Something wrong? Selena: Nothing. Justin: I know there is. What is it? Did someone hurt you? Who is it? Ill get him for you. Selena: Hey, thanks but no one hurt me. Justin: I was just joking. I was trying to make you smile cause you're so down but I guess it didn't work. Selena: Seriously, you were joking? Justin: See? I can't make you laugh. I can't even make you smile. Selena: Hey, I was just joking too. Justin: But you're not laughing nor smiling. That's just not you. Oh, I know. [lightens up] Selena: What? Justin: I'll make you laugh. Selena: Ha! You cant do that. Justin: Oh, yes I can. Selena: really? Justin: Yes. Come with me. Selena: where? Justin: Just come. [grabs Selena's hand and pulls her] Selena: okay. [Justin brought Selena to a place full of flowers] Note: Justin is still holding Sel's hand here. Selena: Oh My Gosh!! [shocked] Justin: Why? You don't like it? Selena: No! Its not that I don't like it. I love it but I already know this place. Justin: What? Really? Selena: YES!! [smiles] Justin: Yay! I made you smile! Selena: [laughs] yeah. You did! Justin: And I made you laugh! Selena: Yeah, congratulations. [smiles] Now, stop holding my hand. Justin: oh, sorry. Selena: Iris! They are so beautiful [sits and smells the flowers] smells good too. Justin: Yes, Like you. Selena: What? Justin: Nothing. [sits beside her] Selena: Wait who told you that you can sit beside me? Justin: Oh, I'm sorry I'll just go home and leave you alone. [He stands up and when he was about to start walking, Selena grabbed his hand] Selena: Hey I was just kidding. Don't leave me here pls. Justin: See? You just call me whenever you need me.

Selena: So not true! [playfully hit him] Justin: Hey, I was wondering. Selena: What? Justin: Why were you crying yesterday? Selena: No reason. Wait, crying? I didn't cry. Justin: Yes you did. I saw you here yesterday. You see, I discovered this place when I was walking alone without having any destination at all. I just walked until my feet felt tired and this is where I stopped. [Selena looks at him] I didn't disturb you and I went home. I felt so happy and relaxed when I saw this place so I promised to respect and love this place. [Justin looks at her (eye to eye contact!!)] Selena: [smiles] Yes Justin, I would. I would respect and love this place. Justin: This is for you and I only. Selena: Sure. For you and I only. Justin: No one will ever know this place expect from us. And we'll be responsible if something wrong happens to it so we have to maintain its beauty. Deal? [puts out his hand to have pinky swear] Selena: Deal! [puts out her hand and had a pinky swear and smiles] Justin: Okay, back to the question. Why were you crying yesterday? Selena: Fine, I'll answer it. There's really no reason why I cried.... Justin: What are you? Crazy? Selena: I'm not done yet?!??!? Justin: Oh sorry. Selena: Its just that, I was feeling really really heavy and I just felt like expressing it. So I cried. That's how I express my feelings when there's a heavy feeling inside me. [She leans her head to his shoulder] Justin: I see. But why were you in a bad mood yesterday before you went here? Selena: It was nothing, really. Justin: You said it was about your boyfriend. [he whispered] (so he leans closer to her ear to let her hear it) Selena: What is it to you? Do you even care about it? Justin: I was hurt when you said that. Selena: Really? Why? [removes her head from his shoulder and looks at Justin. Their faces were like inches away from each other] Justin: I was -- jealous. Selena: [looks away] what? Huh? Jealous? Justin: Oh, uh— never mind. Forget it. Selena: okay, if you say so. Justin: Wow, you're not naughty this time?.. Miracle? Selena: So you want me to be naughty? And how did it become a miracle? Justin: no I don't want to and that became a miracle cause. Selena: Cause what? Justin: Miracle means impossible to happen right? Selena: yeah. So you mean me being less naughty is impossible to happen? Justin: Uh-huh! Selena: What? You're mean!!!

[Justin stood up and ran. They ran after each other until Selena got tired. She sat at the grass near a not-so-big rock.]

Selena; (running out of breath) I'm so tired already. Lets rest for a while.

[Justin runs towards Selena but he tripped to the rock. Selena caught him. Justin is now on top of Selena]

Selena: OUCH! (eye to eye contact with Justin for 5 seconds) *After 5 seconds* Selena: Uhmm .. Justin: I'm really sorry. I didn't mean to. I tripped! Selena: I-It- Its Ok.

[Justin stands up and helps Selena to stand too.]

Selena: Uh- Justin, I think we should go home now. Its kinda late. My mom maybe worried about me. Justin: Oh, ok. Lets go. *While walking* Selena: Uh- Justin.. Justin: Hmm? Selena: Thanks. Justin: For what? Selena: For everything especially for this day. Justin: What? Why? Selena: Because, you made me smile even though I was crying there. Do you know that you are the only one who can do that? So far? Justin: Really? Selena: Yes. Many of my friends and family tried but they cant. Justin: Even Emily? Selena: Even her. Justin: Wow. Selena: LOLx :D That's why I'm being nice to you. You make me happy every time I'm not. Justin: Cant say anything! Selena: (laughs) I can see that. (Serious look; stops walking) Justin— Justin: Why? (stops then turns around) Selena: (looks down) Now that you know that you're the only one who can make me happy, don't go anywhere. Pls. stay, don't leave me here. Stay here up to college or even longer. Can you do that for me? Cause when you leave, I will be so lonely. So pls. stay? [Justin walks towards her]

Justin: (holds her chin and let her look up to him) I promise I wont leave. Ill stay here for you. Selena: Really? You Promise? You'll do that for me? Justin: Yes. Its a promise. Come on. (They walked again) Selena: Thank you so much (smiles and lightens up) Justin: You're welcome. By the way, why were you sad while saying those words to me? Selena: Nothing. Its just,-- I'm scared to lose a friend. Justin: But you have many friends right? Selena: Yes but— Justin: But what? Selena: But—You're the ONLY ONE who can make me smile when I'm down. Even though they put their energy together to make me happy, it can never be the same happy feeling I feel when I'm with you. [A/N: awwwwwww!! :) ] Justin: aww.. Nice (smiles) Selena: (laughs)

Justin: But why are you scared to lose a friend? Selena: Because my friends are my family. Justin: But you have your own real family. Selena: Yes, I do but I'm not that happy when I'm with them. I'm happier and I feel like I can be myself when I'm with ya'll (smiles) Justin: Oh, Ok

[They were walking on their street when the others saw them together, so they teased them again.] Emily: Guys, they're here!! (points to them) Monique: Oh yeah. Brenda: Come on. (runs towards them) Jason: Hey where have you been? Selena: What? Emily: Where have you been? Spill it. Mitchel: Are you two together since this morning? Justin: Uh-, yeah. Emily: really? cous? [A/N: cous is short for cousin] Selena: yeah, were together since this morning. Emily: OMG!! Where? Selena: It's a secret between the two of us. And why did you react like OMG! Where?! (imitates Emily) Emily: Nothing. Selena: It's a secret between the 2 of us. Brenda: Selly, pls. tell it. Selena: don't want to (smile) Mitchel: Just ask Justin. Jason: Justin --Selena: (interrupts) Ooops!! Justin, don't you dare tell it to them. Justin: ooook Selena: There. Thanks. Justin: Sorry guys. Selena: Uh,-- Guys, I'll go home for a minute. [starts to walk] Emily: SELENA!! Selena: What?! [turns around] Emily: Tell it pls. Selena: Don't want to (smile) Emily: (joking) I hate you BOTH! Selena: I know!

Many days have passed since that day. They became closer to each other. Nobody has ever known 'bout Selena and Justin's place. One day before their school starts, they cherished their last day of vacation.

*Emily went to Selena's house*

Emily: Selena, come on let's go outside.

Selena: I can't Emily. You know mom. Emily: Please. It's already my last day. Ill go back to Iowa. Selena: WHAT? Why so soon? Your school will start next week right? Emily: Yes but my mom wants to go home early so I can be ready. So, please. Selena: But— Emily: Please Selly please Selena: *sigh* Okay. Emily: Come on.

Outside *

Brenda: Selena! Emily! Emily: Hi. Monique: Why does the over-energetic Emily seems so sad today, huh? Jason: Over-energetic huh? Mitchel: Why Emily? Any problem? Selena: It's because—uhm, shes going back to Iowa today. Mitchel: What? Huh? You'll go back to Iowa already? Why? Justin: Why do you react fast? Affected? Mitchel: Nothing. Is it bad to ask? Emily: Because our school will start next week and my mom wants me to get ready early. Brenda: it's still early. Selena: But we still have one more day right. Instead of having some drama here, let's just play. So there are no time wasted. Justin: Yeah, I agree. Mitchel: Why did you react so fast? Justin: Nothing. Mitchel: Maybe because Justin: cause what? Monique: cause what? Continue! Brenda: What Mitchel? Justin: try to continue it Mitchel: cause you have a crush on Selena (whispers on Justin so the others wont hear) Justin: You ---!! (he chased Mitchel) Others: What?? Mitchel: *running* Come on!!

They played until they become tired. Someone called Emily to get ready. After a few minutes, she went out again.

Emily: Guys, I'll go back now. (starts to hug them) Brenda: Emily: We'll miss you girl. Emily: I'll miss you too. Monique: Go back here huh? Selena: Don't forget us huh.

Justin: How can she forget you? You're her cousin. (Selena glared at him) Selena: Don't ruin the moment! Mitchel: Yeah Justin. (to Emily) Don't forget us, Huh? Justin: You too Mitchel! You're all dramatic. Jason: *sigh* (to Emily) give me a hug. Bye, take care. Emily: I will. (unhugs) Justin: Even you Jason? Emily: Justin. Let me give you a hug. Justin: No way. Selena: Go, It's her last day here, remember? Justin: Don't want to. Selena: Please (puppy eyes) Justin: *sigh* Fine. (hugs Emily) Take care. Emily: I will. Hey, take care of my cousin huh, Justin. Justin: She's old already. Selena: (taps him) who's old? Justin: Ouch! *they all laugh* Emily: Stop it. Kay, I need to go now. Goodbye. Take care of yourselves okay? All: Okay, you too. Selena: Bye! [then she left] Monique: Selena's really full of secrets sometimes. Brenda: if shes going to secret, we cant comfort her. Monique: Wait, [thought of something] Yeah! But I know someone who can. Everyone: Who?? Monique: Who else? None other than--- Justin [she pointed at where Justin was standing.] Mitchel: W-where is he? *they saw Justin walking* Jason: Well, he read us. Monique: Where is he going? Jason: He's going to secret of course. [smile] Brenda: How'd you know? Jason: Cause I know him. And we all know that Selena and him are the only people who know the secret place right? For sure hell go there.

Mitchel: Right, and we know that he likes Selena. Brenda: Well, if that's the case then lets not worry bout Selena. Shell be ok soon. * On Iris Garden * [their secret place] * Selena is sad again * [Justin saw her sad. He picked an iris, approached her, gave it to her then sat beside her] Selena: [accepts the Iris] Hi. Justin: Why are you sad again? Selena: My cousin-bestfriend-Emily is gone. Justin: Were here. I am here. So don't be lonely. Selena: But its still different. Its not the same without her. Justin: Really? Then were nothing to you? Selena: No. I didn't say that. Justin: Yeah, but its like that. Selena: Now you're mad at me? Justin: NO!? Why would I be mad? Who am I to be mad at you? Selena: Now you're being a DRAMA KING! Justin: [not responding] Selena: really, Justin? Really? Textmessage: Selena! Marie! Kayliegh! Gomez! Where are you?! What time do you plan to go home?! Selena: [sits] OMGEEE! My mom just texted me. Justin: [sits] What did she say? Selena: She said where I am and what I time do I plan to go home. Justin: So what will you do? Selena: What else do you think? Of course Ill go now. Its like 9 in the evening. I'm dead! Justin: Oh no, don't say that. Come on. *Then the two went home * Selena: Justin, thanks for comforting me. You can go home now. Maybe they're worrying bout you too. Justin: Wont you be scolded? Her mom was standing right in front of her] [A/N: Selena is living with her step mom Dominique and step sis Allyson. Both her real parents are dead. [Justin decided to go back to Selena's house to tell her] *With Selena* Selena: But mom, I was really outside then I went to my bestfriend's house, Harper. [A/N: but she really didn't go there. Just to cover up the fact that she was with Justin cause Dominique would get angrier if she knew. Shell say Selena was flirting, etc.] Dominique: [pulled Selena's hair] Don't lie to me! You didn't go there! Selena: [crying] I'm not lying! I went there. Dominique: [still holding Selena by hair] Tell me the truth! Selena: [crying] I am telling the truth! [he walked away smiling] The next day is their first day of school. Selena, Brenda and Monique went to their school together. Well, their first day was wonderful. They enjoyed with their school friends and everyone. After school, they also went home together. As time pass by, Selena's feelings for Justin becomes deeper and Justin feels the same way too. But they are not talking to each other much and they act just like strangers that don't know each other. After several months of not talking, the group finally got a time to talk.

Selena: I don't know, like, 2nd week of school. Mitchel: That long? Selena: Yes. Jason: I wonder why. All: Me too. Brenda: But, do you miss him? Selena: Uh-, well, (looks at her watch) Oh! Selena doesn't mind the fact that Justin is ignoring her. A month later, they all receive a shocking bad news.

Mitchel: Jason, why can't I see Justin anymore? Selena: Yeah, Jason. He's not even at school. Have you seen him? Jason: Guys, Sel, Justin's gone. All: WHAT? Selena: What gone? What do you mean gone? Where is he? TELL . ME . NOW . Brenda: Sel, relax. Selena: Relax? How can I do that? He's gone. Jason: He went back to California. Selena: (shaking her head, teary eyed) Monique: We're sorry Sel, no one wants this. Selena: its ok. Mitchel: Are you alright? Selena: Yes. All: Are you sure? Selena: (loud voice) YES! (realizes that she just shouted and softens her voice) I-I'm sorry, Don't worry, I'll be fine. (fake smile)

Selena got mad at Justin for many reasons. For ignoring her, for leaving without saying a word, for breaking his promise but mostly for LEAVING. Two [2] years have passed and Selena and Justin are already in their 10th grade. Selena made new friends like Debby, James, Rosie, Heidi and Wendy. She's very happy in her highschool life and she studies very well. And one more fact about Selena is that she still love Justin and believe it or not, she believes in the saying "FiRST LOVE NEVER DiES" because of that. Justin has the same situation but not the same friends of course.

*School* Selena: Hey guys! Debby: Hi, Why do you look very happy today? Selena: Pfft- Nothing. (smile) Wendy: Really Selly? Really? Selena: (smile) Don't do that Wendy. Heidi: We don't believe you James: Just tell us Sel. Selena: Fine. (smile) [speaking excitedly] I'm happy 'cause I talked to one of Justin's close friends. Rosie: Justin? AGAiN?! You already did and told me that you'll tell dad. And now you changed your mind? WTH? Jeremy: WATCH YOUR WORDS MISTER! Pattie: Justin, we're so sorry. I guess you just can't see Selena. Justin was sooooooo upset that day. Classes finally ended. While walking down the hallway, he heard Caitlin talking to her bestfriend.

BFF: So, how did it go yesterday? Caitlin: It's awesome! My plan worked. BFF: What did you say to his grandma? Caitlin: (tells it to her)

Caitlin: No. I think he's still talking with Chaz and Ryan about how bad he wants to go back to Louisiana and see Selena again. Grandma: Louisiana? Selena? Who is that? Caitlin: Oh, you don't know her? That's the girl Justin likes back there. Grandma: Really? Caitlin: Yes. He talks about her EVERYDAY! Grandma: aww, my justy likes someone! (smiles) Caitlin: Yeah, I'd be happy for him only if Selena's a nice girl but she's not. Grandma: What? Why?

Caitlin: She's not nice. She picks on everyone. I visited there once and everybody at their school is afraid of her. She's so mean. They say that she's like the SCHOOL QUEEN. She gets whatever she wants. Her family is rich so, she acts like she owns the school. She feels like everyone's her slave. She makes them get her lunch, ties her shoe lace and she even spills drinks on them and screams at them when they make mistakes. She yelled at me too when I was there and she embarrassed me in front of everyone. (fake cries) Grandma: really? Come here sweetie. (Comforts her) Justin shouldn't like that girl. Caitlin: Yeah. (sobs) It's just sad that he insists to go back. Grandma: Don't worry sweetie. He's not going anywhere. Caitlin: (wipes off tears) Really? Thank you. And please don't let him know that I told you 'cause he'll be mad at me. (sits on the couch) Grandma: Yes. I won't tell him.
