Acknowledgement's This new book, Mahatma II, completes for humankind what had to be stated at this bewildering time on Earth, with so much new and, until now, unidentifiable energy and rapid shifts in consciousness within which the "old age" simply cannot function. Mahatma II completes the circuitry of Mahatma I and allows humankind the wonderful opportunity to embody relative truth in a way that was not available before this time and place. The combination of Mahatma I and Mahatma II, studied with complete dedication, will allow God-man/Hu-man to raise their consciousness above the dense atomic body as the "fallen ones," at a time on Earth when one will have to obey the Great Cosmic Law of Resonance and raise one's vibration into Light and Love or leave this planet for another schoolroom in one universe or another. Another great Co-Creator whom! wish to acknowledge is Priska Arnold; I marvel at her dedication and great organizational abilities. Priska in her own right is a marvelous te~cher and healer who opened her doors unconditionally to our teachings and energy. These two great beings and others in Switzerland have allowed our1 energy to center in this beautiful country. An ironic side effect of locating in Zurich originally, before moving to Basel, was the amount of gold in storage there. Gold should flow and not be stored; but from our point of view of anchoring energy on Earth, nothing is more compatible with "spiritualizing energy" than gold. Its energy vibrates at an extremely high rate in dense physicality, and so it can act upon the finer physical expressions through the absorption of its energy. Thus it was not by chance that Switzerland was selected for the magnification of the Mahatma energy, as a new beginning in a new world. Yes, it's a good differentiation. It takes many levels and condenses them, and I feel that that's not bad. In fact, for the purposes of this book, it's quite representative. (Refer to the diagram "The Seven Councils of Twelve," p. 227.)

Now, is all of mankind inextricably involved with the Co-Creator Council of Twelve? If you look at that as being the I AM Presence, and if you look at all manifested beings, both physical and nonphysical- what we call Creation . there's nothing outside of that. Would that be true? That's right, yes. Nothing manifested outside of that.

Okay. Then every aspect- of Creation is part of one of those Directors or Rays for this Cosmic Day? Yes.

There's nothing outside. So when one looks at their ultimate monadic condition, they have to reflect- mirrored from one of those Directors. That's right.

Why do I feel, though, that I'm already part of that I AM Presence? Because you are a part of the I AM Presence.

All right. Now the Planetary Government is, then, one step down, as it were, from the Planetary Logos with Kuthumi/Maitreya as the head of the Planetary Government in between the Planetary Logos, Sanat Kumara, and the fully manifested Soul? Or is the fully manifested Soul really embodying this Planetary Government? {We're studying the illustration "Co-Creator and Creator Levels.")

The Journey ofthe Mahatma from Source to Earth • 99 Yes, I would say that it is. It is part of the structure that has formed the Logos. Sanat Kumara has used the energies of all of the Souls that will ever manifest, ever have, ever will, or are manifesting, to create the structure around this planet. . Another reason why you identify with this part (he points to the Undifferentiated, Unmanifested Source in the illustration "Co-Creator and Creator Levels") is that you have a lot of energy tied up in it that w~s meant to be a part of this stream of consciousness that we talked about here. I'm going to give you a figure that may blow you apart a little bit: You have 83% of your life force still in the unmanifested state, still tied up in the Source Itself. Now, how much does that leave, Brian? Seventeen percent. (He laughs a little incredulously.)

(NOTE: As you can see from the chart, we have increased our life force to 59% as of December 1993.) Seventeen percent only that you're working with- now, that's why you identify with it so strongly.

It must have been terrible then, because we've really come a long way. It might be interesting to start bringing some of that out; but the reason that you haven't- and this can be part of our Electrical Day- is that you've reserved your chair. You've said, "This is where I sit; this is where my 83% is." This fits you exactly! This is what we might call the fully manifested Co-Creator level, or the Co-Creator Council, as you are terming it. This is the chair that you need to put it in, the Co-Creator Council of Twelve; but you still have it . over here in the Unmanifested Source. ~at does

It's not terrible. It just means that you have a lot more potential to bring down. But as you do, it's going to change the way you look at everything, because you will have more life force in manifestation than not in manifestation. This is why the close association with Source, because of the beliefs that say, "I must leave it here because that's Who I Am." But you were given an assignment. It wasn't meant that you should leave it all here, in Source. I'm not saying that one can't leave a little energy there, but this is the package of energy of life force that is to evolve that Co-Creator level. You can't do it with 17%, obviously, not in the full way that you want. And so you keep relating to, let's call it, the fully developed Creator. Why? Because that's where all of your energy is. See that? It's important, isn't it? So you have to pull it into the process first, this step-by-step process, and then it will eventually circle around to where you want it. You would like to have it in this Creator level, and it will be, I promise you that. But it has to go through the loop of the Co-Creator first. That's another way of looking at this, and perhaps it's helpful.

Yes, shocking but helpful! (They chuckle.) Vywamus, when we say that the average physical being will have approximately 2500 lives on as many as 20 planets, then that could be 50,000 lives. How many planets sustain the physical, or the Adam Kadmon body, in this universe? About 80% of those.

How many planets, approximately, in this Cosmic Day? There are billions of them.

That sustain the Adam Kadmon body? Yes!

In this Cosmic Day? Yes!

Really?! (His throat chakra gets a little choked up at this point.) So in this Cosmic Day ... ·Yes. Everything that is manifested, everything that is physical and nonphysical is a part of this Cosmic Day. Anything that's manifested will be pulled back during the Cosmic Night to begin again then.

And that constitutes this Source? That's one day of this Source, one day of Its experience.

It's beyond the mind. Yes, of course it's beyond the mind. But you see, it's even more than that. For example (and he \in very concrete terms, some very wonderful and marvelous things - not only things such as inventions, but creations of art, music, poetry, dance- any area of expression. That is why creative beings resonate so well with this New Age, where channeling iS the most viable means in dense physicality to be able to conup.unicate with the higher teachings, until such time as the Masters themselves take on physical 'bodies, or other aspects, as seen on TV, are played out. Channeling has another value as well, in that the tendency has always been for mankind to worship and deify their teachers. Even in this day and age of scientific skepticism, there is a flip side - that of blind devotion and those who are extolling the virtues of that type of faith. The danger here is that if all of a sudden a master or a number of masters or avatars appeared upon the planet with a new teaching, they would likely be met, on one hand, with tremendous hostility; and on the other, group worship would develop around them by many who believed and followed. We have seen this model developing over and over again. The teachers, including the Christed energy through Kuthumi and Maitreya, are doing everything in their respective power to avoid another limited belief structure coming into existence; that could only impede mankind's personal and collective spiritual growth. In other words, these energies manifesting on earth at this time do not wish to be worshipped or exalted, but to be treated with divine equality and to teach and convey their love, light, and higher teachings to those among you who are searching within Self for the spiritual heavens that reside within each and every one. As we were saying about channeling, though, as a distinction from other means of physical manifestation- channeling as a source of teaching - one sees a possibility here of a universal teaching whfch is corroborated all over the world through thousands of different channels, the basic tenets of the teaching being the same. Some of the' variations occur from the backgrounds of the channels - from the various geographic locations, religious backgrounds of the area, etc. However, the basis of the teaching is the same; and this is, indeed, the foundation of what Djwhal once called the New World Religion. This New World Religion will be such a grassroots understanding that it will not need a figurehead; a figurehead may be sent, but it will not necessarily need that. Ultimately, the understanding will be that the figurehead is simply an Elder Brother on the Path, not one to be placed on a pedestal or worshipped or treated (in any sense of being) as something other than what humanity already is. Simply viewed, that being would be properly held as an example of what is possible. This is, of course, what Jesus and Maitreya attempted to do 2000 years ago, when the saying was, "Ye are gods," and the masses said, "Yes, sure, we are gods, but we are still having trouble making ends meet and we can't heal ourselves; we have our limitations." The Christ said," All the things that I have done, you will do, and more." This type of teaching has been around for 2000 years; people have paid lip service to it, but they have not actually understood

As the channeling process unfolds with more and more channels around the world, with information .on channeling, processes for channeling, and increased energy, the entire level of consciousness of the worldwill be elevated to the po~t where more and more people can actually tune in to themselves and get this teaching from within. The great beauty of it~is that it gives the power back to everyone. It does not put the power onto "Jesus Christ" or Buddha or Mohammed or anyone else; It does not put the power onto the government or onto science to "fix my life"; it puts the power back into the individual- back into their own beingness, to create their own reality the way they want it.. What it does is discourage the adulation of the form and allow for the acknowledgment and recognition of the spirit behind the forms. When you have an entity such as ourself, Mahatma, channeling through a physical personality, then the physical being is certainly not one that you would wish to worship, although one may want to adore the consciousness !hat is coming through. Well, where is that consciousness? What form would ·· · you put on it? You would not be able to make a picture and hang it around your neck or put it up on the wall, although many have tried. Many have tried to do this with the various Masters - painted pictures and then worshipped the form. This is not the point; the point of this entire phase of the teaching is to bring the spirit of the teaching without the constrictions and the hindrances of the form, which has been brought through in the past. · Once that form level is transcended, then of course the form can reappear. There is a little clue for you, in terms of the physical reappearance of the Christ: Qnce the consciousness of the Christ is experienced and perceived within the beingness of the ~dividual, he will know that it truly does lie within, that the Kingdom of Heaven is truly within. · He th~n will stop looking outside, and that point will be the appropriate time for the outward expr-ession to tome forth- at the very time when it is not needed. Mankind is more receptive than they were ten years ago ...and more than they were ten years prior to that, and so on. The unfolding process has been quite astronomical. It is one which is a geometric progression; it just mushrooms out. It is said that the amount of knowledge available to. mankind as a race doubles now every 20 months. This is rather phenomenal, considering how all of that knowledge gets integrated, or not integrated, as the case may be. This is where the reservoir of consciousness needs to be expanded, as the intellect is getting to the point where it is becoming overburdened; as a tool, it is being overworked. It is not meant to handle everything; it is meant to be a tool for the conscious mind, but the conscious mind has been running away from its job. What we are doing is also working to help mankind and, beginning through individuals, to bring the parts of their personalities back together to the point where not only is the conscious mind in control again, but the soul is actually infused into it. It becomes a working partnership, rather than some aspect of self that is less than clear running the ship with the conscious mind,

which is supposed to be the captain, asleep at the wheel. The entire process that you and others have been going through is a process of alignment, of unfolding, of clearing. That same process is going on all over the world - through thousands of initiates, disciples, aspirants of the Path- as more and more of this consciousness comes forth and as more of you are becoming aware of your own true nature, your own true ~talus of Self. By status, we mean the status of all of humanity as absolute sons of God, in the ultimate sense of the term. No one fs thus greater than anyone else- all are of the same family, and it is si.Jnply a matter of recognizing who You are, opening yourself to that _level, and allowing it to come forth. If you had reached, for example, the point where you have literally transcended all physical/universal planes, and yet you have the facility to recreate the body at anytime, choosing to come back would be a mutual choice between yourself and your Oversoul or Monad. When you make the choice to return to humanity as a Cosmic Avatar- as a being who has transcended and chooses to come back - then essentially you cannot come back and impose yourself upon unwilling people; there has to be a mutual interchange.. If they choose that they want and need Brian as a Cosmic Avatar, then Brian- or whatever name you choose to go by- will come back, if that is your choice as well. You see, it has to be mutual; that is where your reality overlaps with the reality of all others. On this occasion, our energy has been invoked by the Planetary Hierarchy, Sanat Kumara and all of the Logos and the.Soullevels, to bond the Creator level with the Co-Creator level. (Refer to the chart, "Co-Creator and Creator levels," pp. 228-29 and "The Cosmic Heart," p. 350.)

Conversation Between the Personality (Brian) and Mahatma (the I AM Presence) Brian: Jesus, Maitreya and myself as Simon Peter, as a participant in that Passion play, I know that then and now we created a monster, so to speak, in the religions- the Hindu, the Moslem and the Christian- at least that's a view: From a certain perspective, it karmically backfired on us. What Maitreya created as the Christ has been retrogresssive. Mahatma: Well, let us say that "What was, was ..." and can be rewritten. The way we are viewing it, there was no retrogressive effect upon those entities, who made wonderful use of their opportunities. Our energy as Simon Peter - our galactically aspected energy - was, from our Creator perspective, firmly anchored into the Earth through the collective Christed energy, but it has been difficult for you, the personality level, to integrate the illusionary aspects of betrayal and denial. Maitreya made such wonderful use of the opportunity that he opened that door of initiation for himself and others. He is now in the process of opening another. Jesus also made wonderful use of his opportunity, in that he opened himself to the fourth initiation and fully anchored it. In his very next lifetime, he attained mastery as Apollonius of Tyana, Greece. Since that time, he has worked tirelessly to aid and assist the process of all who have called upon his energies, under the guidance of Maitreya as World Teacher. Jesus has performed remarkably well and is himself moving into a new initiation now, having removed the martyr patterns from his outer self. None of these experi-

ences have had any negative effect, although the task that Jesus has- of redirecting the world religions into a New World Religion and removing the colossal untruths - could seem insurmountable. But the only thing that is perhaps limiting is what has been termed the pulling effect of the thoughtforms. From a karmic perspective, we would say that that is not a true way to view it, because they are beyond the real effect of karma, ·cause and effect. Embodying Love in its pure essence is not a binding energy, it is a liberating energy, given to mankind as a model they may wish to follow. Two thousand years ago, from our monadic perspective, religions developed on a theme of truth, which became a mere thread of truth by the time St. Jerome (unwittingly) and the other founders of catholicism, principally "mad" Queen Theodora and Emperor Constantine, consciously changed its fabric from symbolic teachings to acts of manipulation for power and control, using the vehicles of martyrdom, guilt and fear. Thus, they used St. Peter as the foundation upon which to build these highly manipulative truths after crucifying him, and then made a god out of Jesus, after crucifying him as well- when all these gentle Souls ever agreed upon was to bring in Light at a very dark and troubled time on Earth- a simple galactic assignment that was never intended for demonstrations of adulation and worship! Thus Maitreya's introduction of the Sixth Initiation to Earth was a complete success; and that was his assignment as the Christ, not having an overshadowed disciple named Jesus made out to be "the only son of God"!

I used to have visits from Padre Pio, an entity who visited me at night, and also from Sai Baba at various times. The only way I can tell the difference between the two is by the smell of the perfume they each use as their calling card. Entities like Padre Pio were interesting. He had mastered much, including bilacation, and yet he invoked this suffering from stigmata, where he would bleed five pints of blood a day. Scientists wanted to explain this to mankind and, of course, they could not. This entity and St. Francis of Assisi (who was well known as an aspect of Kuthumi) and many others in the church throughout the millennia, who despite the church gained a certain degree of self-realization. Many of them did ultimately run afoul of the church, because once you have attained a certain amount of light, the fifth chakra starts to open and you are then compelled to express; and in doing so, expressing one's experience which may not be in line with the dogma of the church, one tended to run afoul of that particular belief system. Then the system would feel that they had to shut down the nonconforming individual.

I turned on the TV last night and got Billy Graham on one channel and the Pope on three others. There is no less personification of form and structure, which may make a person feel better, but it can't possibly help them spiritually! Well, both of these men are actually well-meaning in their intent; and we

Conversation Between the Personality (Brian) and Mahatma • 315 would wish to commend them on the spirit of what they are doing, though not the actual results. You see, when you view religious or "spiritual" thought or processes from the New Age perspective, the tendency among many within the New Age community is to view it, saying, "Everything that is New Age is good, and everything that is Old Age is bad!" Highly judgmental, as much so as the born-again Christians tend to be. Now, in truth, the energies which will resonate with those of the New Age have absolutely nothing to do with the jargon one uses ...whether one talks profusely about crystals and Atlantis, etc. That does not make a teaching any more applicable to the New Age than, perhaps, the preaching of hell-fire and brimstone. It is not the jargon, and it is not necessarily the concepts per se; it is the energy behind it. It is the love and the intent behind the energy, and the amount of processing for Ascension that it provides, because the only purpose of being encapsulated in a dense physical body is to integrate enough Light to raise your consciousness to leave! Even some of the more hard-core fundamentalist approaches have within them a seed of resonance to the New Age; and many of the well-known esoteric teachings may not, especially those that channel the psychic/ astral planes. Where are they really coming from? Are they coming from a perspective of love and allowingness in their own basic essence, or not? This is where discernment comes in, because when you view a situation such as a highly zealous Fundamentalist group -be it Christian, Moslem or whomever- you find a tremendous intolerance for others and a tremendous reliance on fear as a motivator. Intolerance, fear, and a highly judgmental stance tend to be what we would consider to be hallmarks of an Old Age perspective. Yet within some of those teachings one can find a large amount of positive energy coming through. Some healings, albeit psychic, are done through Fundamentalist faith healers; and some healings and other types of love are expressed through many of the other more rigid forms of religion. Look to see the grain of truth and the grain of Light within each area that you look at. We would encourage the readers of these books to adopt a discerning but allowing stance towards all teachings. It is simply a matter of stepping back a bit, out of one's old habit patterns, and stepping into a more allowing and natural stance of being more of an observer. The observer aspect is one which tends to be a little misunderstood. By that we do not mean, step out of life and watch it; we mean, maintain your own self-awareness, to the point where you know what is going on around you, and you have that inner strength whereby you can view any situation, be it a teaching, a political situation, etc. -and you can tune in to it and see how much of it resonates within your own heart. That is something that we would encourage everyone to be taught as a habit, rather than blindly following just another belief system. So, even though what we are expounding in these books might be considered to be totally effective, it will not be embraced on the level of "this is the Truth"; it will be on

the level of "here are truths, and please accept that which resonates with you." It's to put an end to, shall we say, the dogmatic approach which tended to be propounded by an aspect of Ourself, Simon Peter among others back in those days, and by so many well-meaning beings today. A few of you have elected to do this street fighting. It does not make it right or wrong, it is just the way you perceive your growth. And it is much better that you focus in on this, because there is still anger within entities like Brian. You have made a tremendous amourit of progress, Brian, with that portion of yourself that typifies the energy of being a victim and martyr. Both . of these are very broad expressions for a great number of personality aspects; however, as a broad brush approach, the victimhood which Peter (and Jesus) very much felt, as well as martyrdom, is energy that you were still carrying to a great degree, even up to a few years ago. Yet you have worked through most of it at this point; as a result of that, the anger and the resentment are falling away. The victim: Whenever one perceives oneself to be a victim, there are many things being said loud and clear at that time. The first is, "I do not create my own reality." The second is, "Because I do not create my own reality, I have to watch out because the world is a dangerous place." Third, when one assumes that the world is a dangerous place, then one has to create shields around oneself and swords to counterattack with to "defend myself against those who are trying to make me a victim." Thus the armor gets built up, the arms race begins to escalate on an internal level, and then of course manifests on the outer. We have seen a very bloody history of mankind, particularly in the last 2000 years. Much of that history has been tied to religious thought, religious beliefs, and reUgious imposition of their belief systems on others. One wit.: nesses the same resurgence of religious zeal in every faction. Much of it emerges from class warfare and economics, but at the very heart of it, the point · of division is the difference in religious beliefs. One sees it among the Tamil rebels in Sri Lanka, among the Sikhs, Moslems and Hindus in India, among the various sects of Moslems in Iran, Iraq and the so-called Holy Land, and of course, among the Christians- the Catholics and Protestants, as typified in Ireland (however, that several-hundred-year-long battle has been waging all over the world, wherever Catholics and Protestants happened to be together). Now one finds it even among the various sects of the Protestants, where you have the New Fundamentalists - the "New Old" coming up. And then there is the "Old New" arising with the old religions in new clothes, in the guise of the New Age but still carrying those same swords and armor, the same "my guru is better than yours, and my path is better than yours" or "you can go ahead and do that process if you like, but if you do, it will take you an extra five lifetimes; whereas my way is much ·better, much faster." from the classical to the Tibetan Buddhism, in its various manifestations, I -which is seen by many as being very tnuch off the wall compared to the

The emphasis has been on a very strict esoteric tradition, and one sees the outer trappings of the Tibetan Buddhism, with its seeming emphasis on gods and devils and all of the trappings, which again appeals to the superstitious minds of rather primitive people. However, within that is a kernel of a tremendous teaching. What the Tibetans did in their approach to Buddhism was to take the foundation that they had - which was more the Hindu o:t Vedic traditionand then the Buddha came along and essentially colored that with a different perspective. So they amalgamated the teachings. The Buddhist tradition and its teaching in its original form, more typified by the Mahayana teachings of Buddha, derived its basis from the Sanskrit Vedic tradition, which is a very old tradition. It is as ancient as mankind, in its ultimate sense. There has been a link with that tradition since mankind originated on this planet. However, when one views the writings and the predictions, in actual fact it is the traditional way of passing down the teaching in an oral form. Whenever there is an oral tradition, there is a tendency for it to dissipate somewhat, so throughout the ages there have always been new teachers, new masters. New avatars come in and infuse new Light and new understanding:.· The Buddha was one of the galactic Avatars to come to this planet, and as his perspective blended with the Vedic tradition, it evolved into the spinoff, or variation known as Tibetan Buddhism.

I feel that we are finally integrating that aspect known as Peter. Well, that depends from which perspective you view it. From the perspective of being within sequential time, you could view that as a past life. But from the perspective of being fully integrated and therefore stepping beyond the constrictions and the structure of consecutive time, then all of those experiences are happening now. From the Soul's viewpoint, all of the lifetimes that the soul manifests as extensions of its own Self are occurring simultaneously. The Soul has created a number of personality aspects, and the one personality aspect that you reference as Brian at this time has had somewhere around 15,000 lifetimes within various universal dimensions- which is very few compared to other beings, who might experience 50,000 lives on various universal levels. The ensouling spark of consciousness that we now refer to as Brian, and which you previously referred to as Peter, Zoroaster, Akhnaton, and now your completion on all universal levels as the personality for Mahatma, the Cosmic Avatar of Synthesis, did not necessarily choose to experience those lifetimes one by one, chronologically. In order to fully experience each of these lifetimes, however, the ensouling consciousness had to dive into that particular reality; it had to immerse itself within the belief structure of that entire reality ~ including, of course, consecutive time. So, one pops into a lifetime and goes through it from point A, birth, to point B, death. Then the personality is liberated to rejoin the Soul. The Soul, together with the personality aspect, reviews the life just experienced ... "Well,

what do you feel you learned here?" ...and other teachers may come in to help assess as well. The personality aspect gives its evaluation of what it learned and says, "I could do with a little more balance in this direction." Thus the teachers and the Souls work together to create a situation whereby another lifetime is chosen to work on that balancing. Not only do all lifetimes occur simultaneously, but each one affects the others. Stepping back from the scene, one can see alllSOO or 2000 lifetimes on this planet, and yet having to experience them sequentially, which is going to be the one in which the Soul can integrate? From the point of view of the Self, it experiences all of the personality aspects; it is going through all of those 2000 lifetimes on Earth alone, and those nearing completion with the physical universal experience can easily project this to 20 other dimensions and other universes which at times have inappropriately been referred to as "other sources." This is the average number of lives, according to Djwhal Khul, that Human, God-man experiences. It is natural for the personality aspect to view things in sequential time, which is a reality from within that particular framework. In this framework one has very little impetus other than to make the basic assumption, "All of reality is sequentially oriented, and if I lived at the time of Jesus, 2000 years ago, then I must have had so many lifetimes between then and now." In actual fact, it could be that from outside of the personal self, the Simon Peter experience was a long, long time before ...or it may be your last life ...or maybe your next one. Not likely, because the culmination process is coming to a positive fruition here, in this life. The difficulty comes, as we just referenced, with people having such a strong tie to sequential time through their many experiences in it, and becoming unable to make the leap beyond the three dimensions to see that time itself is simply another dimension and has as much or as little reality as the solidity of this wall. The wall, the chair that you are sitting on, the body that you live in, are all made up of a lot more space than matter. When you consider the vast amount of space between the particles of the atom, it is very much like the vast amount of space between the sun and its parts, the galaxies and their parts; its solidity is highly illusory. When the vibration of objects is the same as yours and an object hits the table or the desk, you feel the solidity. If the vibrational frequency of the table were different from that of your body, then quite likely your hand would pass through it. Beings such as yourself, in your higher aspects, who are the Creators, created mankind and this physical plane but could not experience it. In a sense, they would pass right through it; they could not hold anything. It would be like a ghost walking through a wall. In order to have that experience, they had to immerse themselves in the matter.
