About pattern This pattern is made for those, who knows basics of crochet, knows what Magic Ring, Invisible Decrease and Increase is, and how to sew details together. If You don’t know it, watch Youtube videos first,

or learn about crocheting, and try to crochet basic stitches and sew some crocheted details together! This pattern is written in American terms:  MR    - Magic Ring sl st- Slip Stitch sc - Single Crochet invdec - Invisible Decrease inc – Increase ch – Chain Stitch

Materials You'll Need: 1.Creamy, 1. Creamy, grey and white yarns.(I used „Alize Cotton Gold” yarns. 55% cotton 45% acrylic.

3.53oz-361yds) 2.Crochet 2. Crochet hook (I used 1,5 mm hook, but it is smaller than size what is written on yarn label. They reccomend 2-4mm)Stuffing 3.Yarn 3. Yarn Needle 4.Scissors 4. Scissors 5.Pins 5. Pins 6.Safety 6. Safety eyes or button-eyes (I used 10 mm safety eyes) 7.Black 7. Black plastic beads for Totoro eyes on the hood 8.Black 8. Black yarn or mouline to embroider Totoro ’s face.

Legs 2pc: Row1: (grey yarn) MR, single crochet 6 times.

Pull your ring tightly closed. Do this with each detail (6) Row2: 6inc. (12) Row3: 1sc, inc. Repeat 6x. (18) Hide the beginning thread leg inside. Row4-Row8: 18sc Fix and hide the thread in 1st leg and don’t cut the thread in 2st leg! Now you need to piece both legs together. Crochet 1sc through both legs and then crochet 35sc legs around. You will have 36sc in the end.

If you think that it is still to small, crochet 54sc 1-3Rows more. I crocheted 21 Rows for Totoro, for other doll 19 Rows was enough. It depends on

how tightly the the head stuffed

is. If you think that the hood is too wide, crochet last Row as 7sc, invdec. Repeat 6x . I did it on Row22.
