Blak-JAK 7500psi Washpipe Cartridge Blak-JAK 7500 psi washpipe cartridge system is a sel-contained unit that is repacked on the rig loor instead o at the topdrive, reducing personnel time alof and promoting a saer workplace. An extra cartridge can be packed and used as a stand-by unit, allowing or 15 minute replacement, greatly reducing downtime. With a design that is 25% lighter than OEM designs, the system enables maneuverability at the swivel and on the rig loor. The repacked cartridge is installed by tightening the nuts to the gooseneck and stem. During the rebuilding process, a single motion tightens the complete unit, allowing easy assembly and repacking. Disassembly, assembly, and operation may be accomplished without external energizing devices such as air or hydraulics. The Mission Blak-JAK washpipe cartridge system can use the same OEM 7500 psi washpipe and packing used in a conventional assembly without modiications. High temperature resistant resistant packing is available or assembly in extreme conditions. The swivel and gooseneck require no adjustments to install the system, and periodic lubrication requirements are identical to the OEM unit.
