Foreword Since the dawn of Time, Man has tried to make sense of the world around him. He observes the turning of night to day, Winter into Spring, and the endless cycle of birth and death. He charts the movement of stars in the sky, and the changing flow of the ocean tides. He notices how the creatures of the sea follow the ebb and flow of the ocean, just as the ocean flows naturally with the heating and cooling of the surface of the Earth. And just like a flock of birds migrating before Winter, so do all things move and change according to the laws of Nature. For thousands of years, Man has lived in Nature according to these laws. He has felt the dew in the morning air and knew when the Spring rain was to come. He takes one look at the clouds, and understands the direction of the coming Summer breeze. Over time, this knowledge of Nature was successfully applied to understand the outcome of one’s Life or Destiny, and this study later became known as “Ba Zi” (八字). With this precious knowledge, one is not only able to foresee what the future holds, but to also CHANGE the outcome of one’s path in life. The ability to change the predestined outcome is what sets Ba Zi apart from many other forms of Chinese Metaphysics. To the ignorant, this knowledge has often been treated with great distrust and suspicion, and many have grown to fear such “power”. Fear and ignorance have caused a great many of Man’s mistakes, and this infinite knowledge was thus hidden away from the people in the ancient Chinese Classic texts. For hundreds of years, only the Emperor and his most trusted advisors had access to the Classics. Anyone who attempted to siphon these secrets out of the Palace would be executed immediately.

These Classics were initially written to deceive and confuse to those who do not understand Nature. Chapter 1

The Green Dragon Treasure The one and only Ancient Secret Feng Shui book’s “The Green Dragon Treasure” said;

天有五星，天分星宿 Heaven have its own 5 elements and it is base on the star alignment (The Qi).

地有五行，地列山川， Earth also has its own 5 elements and it is base on nature.

氣行於地，形麗於天，( 因形察氣 ) Man (Hidden Stems) also has its own 5 elements and although their movement is beneath earth, their result will be shown above the earth.

If readers and learners can understood the above 3 sentences, you will discover Feng Shui for sure! There is this problem that learner and readers have and until now, the problem’s still bothering them. Let’s hear me out. This problem is in the application!

The Green Dragon Treasure

When an advisor told you that you need fire? • • • •

Need fire on the heavenly stem? Need fire on the earthly branches? Or need fire on the hidden stem? How to initiate fire?

The yin fire or the yang fire because they are different fire. If not why are they called Yin and Yang! What is the outcome when fire appears? Now do you think you are in the winning or losing ground? Because you had absolutely no knowledge over the consultants and wouldn’t you think that your life is at their mercy! This is because they know something that you don’t know and wouldn’t it be good if you can find it out yourself! And the worst of all, what if they are all wrong about you? When the good is being read as bad and bad as good!

Chapter 2

The Consonant of the 10 Gods The Derivation of the 10 gods and their usage were discovered by the Great Grand Master Zi Ping. The 10 gods are namely: • Friends, • Rob Wealth, • Hurting Officer, • Eating God, • Direct Wealth, • Indirect Wealth, • Officer, • Killing, • Direct Resource, and • Indirect Resource. They were the Yin and Yang of each of the 5 elements. But their usages were base on the understanding of the 10 gods on their “Productions” and “Controlling” interpretations within the yin and yang understanding. The 10 gods were created by infinite hours through the understanding of nature and were tested in Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter using time and space. A No-Nonsense knowledge of wisdom! By understanding the 10 gods, it helps us in strategies to better judgements, assessments of our path in our goals. The reading is easy but the understandings are very profound! The usage is easy but the interpretations are vast! Although, there are the so called useful gods and negative gods! But the useful can become negative and the negative can also become useful at times.

The consonant of the 10 Gods

The useful gods, do you know who they are and why they are called “useful” as well as the negative and why are they term “negative”. And the worst of all, the useful can become negative because they fight; and do you know why they fight and how they fight and who will win? And the negative can become useful when in time of desperation! This is all the real people in our life! And we need to know and understand them because they might become the cause of our failures in our lives; as well as the contribution of success in our lives! If you got all it takes, YOU MUST LEARN IT AND MASTER IT! Then you are the captain of your soul and the master of your domain. Readers please take note that this book will be using the “stems” for all interpretations unless mentioned otherwise.

Chapter 3

The Secrets of Producing The rules on the law of nature of producing and controlling Metaphysics learners believed that lives are governed by 5 elements based on their interaction on “Producing” and “Controlling” interpretations. And the Ten Gods become the reality of Life! And in order to understand and know how to interpret lives, the Producing and Controlling cycles lie within the secrets of understanding what is the actual meaning of “Producing” and “Controlling”. Many had literally taken the words “Producing” and “Controlling” for direct interpretations and find their results sometimes inaccurate. It is better not to make mistakes in others’ life! Producing sometimes is actually controlling; and controlling is sometimes about producing. This will be covered along the entire book.

The secrets of producing

Understanding the 5 elements on how they produce, why they produce and what they can produce? Many books says: • Metal produces Water • Water produces Wood • Wood produces Fire • Fire produces Earth • Earth produces Metal The meaning of produce is actually; being able to help and assist, knowing how to please others, knowing how to take care of others, knowing how to handle situations, knowing how to manage, knowing how to prevent, knowing what he/she wants etc. But the good and bad is subjected on what can produce and what cannot, because sometimes producing is actually controlling and controlling is actually producing.

Chapter 4

How 庚辛 Produce How metal produce Now let’s talks about Metal; and the yin and yang of Metal are 庚辛. Let’s put them into the study of nature. First what is the Yin and Yang of metal? The yin part of metal is 辛. In nature, they are the fine precious stones and we need a microscope to see it. They serve as minerals stones in nature and they can be found in shallow water sand beds. Some studies term them as gold! Because when they accumulate, gold will be formed. Their accumulation in earth and their form can be very expensive. Examples are jade, sapphire, crystal, ruby etc, these are the outcome of accumulation of minerals through time. And these are the luxury aspects of minerals in human representation. But when it comes to nature, we must ensure it’s beneficial to mankind. In this aspect, how can 辛 benefits man? 辛 in nature is closely associated with sand because sand contain minerals and once minerals is formed, they can purify water “壬”. That’s where we can enjoy mineral water. This is how 辛 in nature helps us in this kind of producing! In the water industry, 辛 serves as a filtration system in small or large scales as membrane technologies for water processing. In human applications for the health in biomedical, it serve as detoxification in terms of charcoal to absorb toxic when it comes to food poisoning!. Anything that needs purification, 辛 can come in as arbitrator.

In business applications, 辛 can be a form of filtration, medical, jewelry, accessory, water technology, geology, computer chips, wiring etc. If 辛 is a useful element to you, you can go into this area of businesses. But if 辛 is injured, they cannot be used in business! Readers, please be mindful about this. But sometimes it can be of use. I know this may sound contradicting! This is because before using anything, we must first know if they are useful to you? Because the applications on 辛 when being referenced to the 10 stems, some nature can use 辛 and some can experience bad results! This is where it makes up the difference on usability. Now coming to the main subject, can 辛 really produce water? It CANNOT! But can it purify water? A BIG YES! So now you know 辛 can produces 壬 and the producing is by purification. And the next question is, can 辛 produce 癸? 癸 in nature is water vapor! Water vapor is formless and they flow freely on whatever the results of nature! If the nature is pleasant, they are clean and clear but when the nature is in chaos, they will follow suit.

How 庚辛 produce

癸 is above ground and 辛 is below ground. And when 癸 falls into the ground, it will be trapped by earth which is the body of 辛, because the outcome of 辛 is with the help of moist earth “己”. And 己 is term as “moist earth” meaning water is already trapped inside earth then minerals can be formed. That’s where the Master Classic “The Infinite Treasure” said, 己 and 壬 is 辛 useful god! Useful god means you are born gifted with knowledge and talent. Now you know that 辛 cannot produce 癸 and instead will trap 癸. This is what we call producing is actually controlling. When you don’t know this interpretation, you call it “secret” and when you know it, you call it “knowledge”. Knowledge and secret is when yin and yang meets!

How 庚辛 produce

Now let’s explore on Yang metal 庚 in nature. The nature of 庚. Where can we find 庚 in nature and what represents 庚? 庚 is trapped deep inside earth. They are the accumulation of 辛 being trapped deep inside earth and formed into 庚! That’s why 庚 and 辛 are termed friends and siblings! 庚 in nature are coal. Coal is trapped in deep earth and once they are released, they don’t want to be trapped in deep earth again! Now can 庚 produce water? Both 庚 and 辛 have different interpretation when it comes to water understanding. You know 辛 cannot produce but can purify water. The produce is by making water drinkable! But 庚 needs fire so that it can turn into water then 庚 can understand water people “壬” but not “癸” people. Because when 庚 is forged by fire, they turn into liquid alike character which is identical to water. This is how as the classic said, metal can produce water. And now you know that metal produces water comes in two different ways: • By purification • With the help of Fire (Here is the secret where fire can produce water)! I hope you can understand now.

Now can 庚 produce 癸? Can coal produce vapor? When coal produces water, this is called self-destructive! And this outcome cannot be noble! Here’s why: coal needs fire to forge so they can be useful in society. Just look at the metal industry on how they help us; to name a few, they are the end products of airplane, vessels, cars, building supports, bridges etc. This is all done with the help of fire. And just imagine, when fire is affected, metal will be termed useless! That is why when 癸 sit beside 庚, 庚 cannot be lucky. They will need to depend on their luck.

How 庚辛 produce

Readers, before reading a person’s destiny, you must first understand nature, and then every reading will make sense to people. Bazi or Destiny reading is not telling people about their problems. Because they already know and that’s why they came to seek your help. The solution will depend on the seriousness of the problem and most of the time, there are no solutions. Because the problem had already happened. The best way Bazi can help a person is to learn it before it happens.

Chapter 5

How 壬癸 Produce How water produce Now let’s talks about Water. The yin and yang of Water are 壬 and 癸. Let’s put them into the study of nature. With the understanding from metal that it cannot produce real water, then where does water comes from? This is largely dependent on gravity when metal is inside earth where they are called Earth Magnetic and gravity pulls. But what does it have to do to derive water? Water comes in the form of evaporation and condensation. Water comes from the interaction of hot and cold temperatures. When earth and metal are formed, heat is escaping from earth as earth cools down. We know that warm air rises and is trying to escape, Earth gravity pulls to prevent heat from escaping out of earth atmosphere. After all the heat escapes from earth, earth starts to cool down and the magnitude of heat when turning cold, rain is formed and it will rain for the longest day. This is where water 壬 is form. Now you know 癸 is the outcome of 壬. After 壬 is formed, 癸 become dependent on 壬. Because 癸 represent air and air needs 壬 for recycling purpose in order to produce fresh air because nature need fresh air to grow.

One common Feng Shui instance which can be found everywhere in the world are the water fountains. This is being taken literally from the word Feng “Air” Shui “Water”. As you now know that they are merely saying water can stop and accumulate “Qi” Air. And this is exactly what the words Feng Shui means. Water can help recycle and turn into fresh air and it just brings in fresh air, nothing more than that. Is Feng Shui about capturing fresh air? Of course Not! Water is the start of nature! Without water, nature cannot happen! The Secret of Feng Shui is with the understanding of Air and Water but is not about using Air and Water. Here’s a teaser, Air means Stem and Water means Branches; Stem and Branches means Heaven and Earth! Heaven and Earth form a pillar and a pillar is from 60 Jia zi and if you understand 60 jia zi, you can find Feng Shui there.

How 壬癸 produce

Now back to 壬 water, can water produce wood? The yin and yang of wood is 甲 and 乙. 甲 in nature represent tree and 乙 in nature represent flower! How can 壬 produce wood? In what ways? Unless you understand what wood wants, if not, you are getting nowhere. Water produce wood is by moisturizing the earth then wood can grow! If water is too much, water can decay its roots. Of course there are certain woods which can grow in water and are not afraid of water, these are called “Special Wood” and if there are Special Wood, there are also Special Metal, Special Water, Special Earth and Special Fire. And in Bazi learning, they are terms “Special Structure”. I will not cover this in this book. Here is a misinterpretation that I would like to draw to your attention, many think that water can produce wood and in reality, water produce wood is through the earth where trees and flowers can grow. Please be mindful about this. The relationships and interpretations that we had come so far from metal to water are just the starting point. Hence, it is very difficult to put everything into words as each verse contains certain connotation and if readers would like to take this subject further in your study, you are welcome to take part in our courses.

Chapter 6

How 甲乙 Produce How wood produce Now let’s talk about Wood and the yin and yang of Wood are 甲乙. Let’s put them into the study of nature. Out of the 10 stems, woods 甲 and 乙 are the only nature that can grow! Because it can be measured as a living person from infant, young, adult, old, sick and die. That is why the 60 jia zi start 甲子 as the first pillar and ending with 癸亥 as the last pillar and then it starts with 甲子 again. From this, you can learn that nature is an endless cycle. Every start is about end and every end is a new beginning. There is a good in a bad situation and a bad in a good situation and this is the basic principal of Yin and Yang.

Now let’s talk about 甲. Can 甲 produce fire? Can the tree produce the Sun “丙”? The answer is Yes and No! And this is also where many masters like to use the words “can use” or “cannot use”. The tree cannot produce the Sun but the tree needs the Sun to grow. This is the reverse engineering of counter production. The Sun will come in handy for autumn and winter tree but not for spring and summer because the Sun can toast them. And when this appears in a bazi chart, it will be interpreted as whatever this person does is for their own benefits and this will make the person cunning. Readers please take note; cunning doesn’t make a bad chart. Because this falls under talented people. And in autumn and winter because the weather is cold and wet, the tree cannot perform to initiate fire, that’s where the Sun appear to cushion the cold wet season. Now we know that 甲 cannot produce 丙 but they can bring warm to autumn and winter to support fire “丁”. 丁 needs 甲 to last the burning. So you know now the truth of nature; 甲 can produce 丁 but cannot produce 丙. Readers please do not take the words literally because in the higher learning, 丙 can support and make 甲 become a millionaire. 甲 see 丁 as nobility and this is what bazi learning is all about; on becoming a noble person to help and improve a balanced society.

How 甲乙 produce

A noble person will set a goal that will last through the test of time. For example, all religious groups around the world are doing just that to show and tell us that at the end of a tunnel you will see light. There is hope in every one of us if we chose to believe in ourselves and this is the goal for all religions. Another example is Confucius; his philosophies still live on and have touches many lives. His goal will lives with man for generations after generations.

How 甲乙 produce

Now let us explore on Yin wood 乙 flower. Can Flower produce Sun and Fire? Flower produce neither of them but the Sun can produce flower by making it blooms. When flower blooms, they can draw attention and become popular wherever they go. But 乙 cannot produce 丁 because flower’s body is wet and when 丁 is being use, the outcome will not be healthy because it becomes a thread to 乙 themselves! With this knowledge, now you know the real meaning of the production cycle.

Chapter 7

How 丙丁 Produce How fire produce Now let’s talk about Fire and the yin and yang of Fire are 丙丁. Let’s put them into the study of nature. Fire is very useful in cold and wet environment and in most cases it has to reach ground level in order to achieve an impact to the environment. Ground level means they appear both on stem and on the braches. If the impact appears in spring and summer, the outcome can be calamity. Meaning nothing can survive! Hence the usage of fire must be sentimental and the approach must be timely then birth can be promoted. There is this one common saying, if you are born in autumn and winter, you need fire! And when you are born in summer, you need water! But in spring there is no reason on using water because spring will consume water and the usage will not be sentimental. Readers please remember when we talk about usage; the usability will be subjected to the outcome of a chart. If fire is intense in spring, water still can be introduced.

How 丙丁 produce

Bazi learning is not about reading the chart but to understand their given environment and find the sicknesses of the nature so as to prescribe the right medication. It is not about making the elements strong or weak because sometimes the strong cannot be weakened and the weak cannot be strengthened. And when you do it wrongly, a live is at stake. And you are responsible for it. It’s just like you take 10 years of hard work to breakthrough and just take one day to destroy everything! Now let’s go through if 丙 can produce earth “戊己”? “戊” represent mountain and “己” represent moist earth! Can the sun produce earth? The sun cannot produce mountain but the sun can aid the moist earth, so earth can grow crops and support trees for healthy growth if the earth is wet. As for 丁, they cannot produce wet earth because wet earth is wet and fire is hot. But instead, they can produce dry earth. 丁 needs to burn something so that their accumulation is the outcome of dry earth. Just like volcano lava, it can be found in 60 jia zi and it is pillar of 戊午. The given environment is mountain sits on lava and this pillar is not sentimental. Some stems like to produce and some don’t like. “The Heaven Instillation Treasure (滴天随)” said; if it needs to produce it must produce, if it cannot produce then it mustn’t. If it needs to combine, it must combine; if it is better not to combine then better don’t. And if it needs to be clashed, it must clash; if it is not, then better don’t clash. Because there are good and bad clashes and combines!

How 戊己 Produce How earth produce Now let’s talk about Earth and the yin and yang of Earth are “戊己”. Let’s put them into the study of nature. “戊” represent mountain and “己” represent moist earth. Can earth produce metal? They have been doing for the longest time and they are very secretive about this production. Earth produce metal by trapping and controlling. Here is what we meant that produce is sometimes control and sometimes control is actually produced. Can we see it? Of course we don’t. How long does it take for earth to produce metal? This is a long process… Then again, we must find out what earth is trapping what kind of metal because we must separate the different earth on different metal and this is not mentioned specifically in many books.

How 戊己 produce

How 己 traps 庚 is by threatening 甲 and 丁 which 庚 requires the two to forge it. This is just like we are not afraid of others threatening us but afraid that our love ones are being threatened by other people and it makes us useless towards helping them. 己 cannot trap 辛 but instead is good in producing 辛 so as to prevent 壬 from washing them.

How 庚辛 Control How metal control The yin and yang of Metal 庚辛. 庚 control 甲 so 甲 can be useful to 丁 and 丁 will then be useful to 庚. Coal is forged by fire and fire needs wood and wood needs metal to axe. This is what we mean by usefulness in the society. 庚 cannot control 乙 because 庚 and 乙 combine! 辛 control 乙 so 乙 cannot trap 己 and 己 can support 辛 to purify 壬 so that 壬 can act as a pure water source for people and the growth of environment. 辛 control 甲; 辛 controlling 甲 is call hard life because 辛 will have self injuries if they are forced to control 甲. Just imagine the nature of mineral being used on wood. It can never happen and when this happen in a chart, you will know that 辛 may have to bear the difficult life.

How 壬癸 Control How water control The yin and yang of Water 壬癸. 壬 control 丙? How? 壬 is water and 丙 is the sun. 壬 is on the ground and 丙 is above ground, so how does the control comes in? Here is how they do the connection, 壬 is cold and 丙 is hot in nature. 壬 control 丙 is by using 丙’s heat to warm the water so that warm water can promote nature and nurture earth. 壬 and 丙 when use together is called aiding. 壬 cannot control 丁 because 壬 and 丁 combined. 癸 control 丙? How can 癸 control 丙? 癸 control 丙 is just like cloud covering the sun. The result is just like insulting 丙. Making 丙 unable to help nature or when the heat can be a calamity. Readers have to be careful on this usage. 癸 control 丁, it is just like fire is being put off by rain. Here I would like to bring out to readers’ attention, 癸 appear on stem will be read most of the time as rain, because cloud and rain is of one body. Here you can find that different water usages are very different because not all charts will appear 壬 and 癸.

How 甲乙 Control How Wood control The yin and yang of Wood 甲乙. 甲 control 戊? How 甲 control 戊? Tree Control Mountain is to loosen earth by using their roots to penetrate mountain so water can run on it. This process is to help 甲 themselves. 甲 cannot control 己 because 甲己 combine! 乙 control 戊? Can the flower control the mountain? It can never do. If 乙 is the man, what will happen after he gets married? You don’t want to know and don’t ask them! Have you seen flowers growing on Mount Fuji or Mount Everest? 乙 control 己? 乙 control 己 is to prevent 己 from trapping 癸 because 乙 loves 癸.

How 丙丁 Control How Fire control The yin and yang of Fire 丙丁. 丙 control 庚? How 丙 control 庚? 丙 comes in and balance the chill. Because 庚 is cold and is just like autumn chill. 丙 cannot control 辛 because 丙 and 辛 combine. 丁 control 庚 is by forging metal into a product! This is the difference between 丙 and 丁. One is to help nature and one is to help worthy beings. 丁 control 辛 is to prevent 辛 from damaging 甲 as 甲 is the dearest resource “mother” to 丁 and 辛 “can be the wife” of 丁. Bazi applications are very vast and the permutations are enormous! But if you can understand nature, you can somehow decode them in a systematic way. Because after you have found out that you are wrong in certain readings, others people life will be misguided by you.

How 戊己 Control How Earth control The yin and yang of Earth 戊己. 戊 control 壬? 戊 control 壬, the meanings are profound, in nature, 戊 control 壬 is to grow wood and help 戊. But 戊 control 壬 can help in terms of tsunami. 戊 control 壬 is mountain blocking water. But reading a chart must be flexible. What is the cause of Tsunami? Because of earth quake. And earth quake is caused by 戊 Mountain. This is to understand the cause and using the cause to handle the outcome of the cause! And this is the Ultimate of bazi understanding! Heaven and Earth connect means rooted, and rooted means heaven and man have an identical elements. Example of a chart that qualify as a structure:

The year 庚 root is available on 申 which is located at the month The month 甲 root which is available on 寅 located at the year The Day received support from the Hour stem 丙 The Hour 丙 receive its surplus roots 丙 from the two 寅

Rooted mean this person’s knowledge and his actions are congruent. 己 born in 申, and 申 contains 庚壬戊. If the stem appears all 庚壬戊, then only the strongest will be taken into reading. In the chart, the season 申 is the identical of 庚 on the year stem and this is called “In Structure” because 庚 is rooted in the season. 庚 also represent the interest, habit and action to 己, hence, we can know that this person is genuine in his interest, habit and action. Example, if he said he will do, he will definitely do so as the projection of this person is genuine. NOW, is 庚 useful to 己?

Understanding the definitions of structural reading

Although this is what the classics said, but we cannot take it as this will always be the case. Because this person action will change when the luck, year, month, day and hour filter in for accuracy reading, the results may be different. Readers, please don’t take everything literally and say that the “book said so”. What happen if the books are wrong! Or the cultural changes with time and it do not apply to our society anymore. Bazi reading must be flexible because you don’t want to make any wrong judgement in people’s life.

Rooted are termed “In Structure” and Not rooted are termed “Not in Structure”. And what is all this structure all about? Something strong and domineering and can control over the entire chart. Control over your entire life. But readers, please be careful. Sometimes, rooted is a bad thing if the rooted elements have a negative impact to the day master.

Understanding the definitions of structural reading

Hence, a structure can be good and bad and that’s where a reading can make a lot of difference! And what is the point of having a structure if it is bad.

A bad structure is where a problem stucks and stays with us for our entire lifetime. And we have no control over it and require our luck to help us. Understanding and learning Bazi and Feng Shui actually understands the different strategies that come along with our life where it makes us the master of our endeavour. You might find it difficult to comprehend if you are not sure what is good and bad for the day masters. It is too much to elaborate and besides, you must know the good and bad configurations so that the reading approach will be dynamic! But remember, bazi learning is not about telling the problems. It’s about giving solutions when we spotted a problem. Saying the correct scenario to your customers only helps you to score points but if you can prescribe a solution, you can save a life. And this is the purpose of saving a family, a business and it can be a country as well. And there are governing rules on helping people because not all people will appreciate your help. Helping people when they are not ready for it, you will fall prey into their luck. If people don’t know bazi is just like when they fall sick, they visit a doctor for medication. And a sickness will be subjected to the best prescription but in some occasions, they might not have any medication if the sickness is terminal. Because all sicknesses varies and we cannot prevent everything; and when it cannot be prevented, it will depend on the ability of the medication. 倒食即偏印之谓， 一名吞啖煞， 食神最忌见之。 Indirect Resource are categorize as an attempt to steal/snatching/ intervention icon. Eating God is MOST afraid of them.
