he world was shocked, on July 20th when the killing in Aurora, Colorado was announced in the news. A student, James Holmes, opened fire in a cinema, during the new ‘Batman’ film, on the audience. What happened to this boy, a brilliant student till that day – to prepare, and do such a thing? The answer can be found in his natal map and in the transits of that day.

efore I look at the astrology map of a person, I always check the date of birth and the full name with the help of Numerology and Tarot cards. 13 is the card of Death. This card shows endings and new beginnings. Clients are startled when this card comes out, but,

with normal people, it is a new possibility, a new window is opening up for them. I say normal people, because James was not a common person. No. 13 is one of the most difficult numbers in Numerology, because, it is built by 1 and 3, (ego and love) but added up, it gives us a 4, which is ruled by Uranus, the revolutionist. (Uranus is out of bounds in the map). We all saw what happened in the world when Uranus passed to Aries…(the “Arab spring”) So a no. 4 person will “blow up” one day surprising everyone around him.

The month of birth was December, and here too we have the same number 1, the Sun, ego and 2, the Moon, the mother figure. Moon in Virgo, shows the mother who is a nurse. 12 adds up to 3, which is ruled by Jupiter; the planet of joy and expansion. A no.3 person would like to make a “show” to be recognized, and applauded. 3 also has to do with children, and as I read about James, he worked as a counselor for underprivileged children at California camp. Jupiter, ruler of the 9th house of high studies, and life philosophy, hints about his studies and success- until a point, when he cracked. The day and the month added up gives us 4+3= 7 Neptune. Neptune rules drugs. I would not be surprised if he will not stand trial, because of it. The year of birth 1987, adds up to 25/7 Neptune. Neptune has many faces. It is the planet of artists, of medicine and drugs, also shows how illusionary or not a person is. Neptune is the ether, it dissolves things and issues. So until now, this person is ruled by Uranus, Jupiter, and Neptune twice. These will be the planets that I will check in the astrological map. At the first level. Then there are many sublevels.. Also, I check the name. James Eagan Holmes adds up to 13 ! which is the exact day of his birth, so here also he “ meets” the Sun 1 , Jupiter= 3 and added up Uranus. The vowels add up to 6, with shows his inner world, represented by Venus. The consonants add up to 7 – Neptune again. One cannot just “escape “ his fate. Uranus and Neptune rule him here too. Now, we can turn to the astrology chart. Since there is no official hour of birth, neither is the place of birth 100% sure, I took the privilege to move the map. What I wanted to have is the asteroid Chaos at his age now. By doing that, we got Neptune right on his ascendant, which is nice if a person is a doctor, or a researcher, but otherwise it can show a person who does not know himself, somehow hiding from his real self, until the “veil” falls, and he stands out there naked, shouting to the world: Here I am! Acknowledge me. Neptune rules cinema, so this person as if lives in a film, in an imaginary life. As I wrote in my blog, extreme behavior comes from 4 planets in Sag., in the 12 th house of subconscious. Since we are watching Uranus, Saturn, and the Sun –planets that we found till now in his data, are all there hiding, in the 12 house. Waiting. But the most important planetary position is that of Mars-Pluto conjunction in Scorpio! I have several charts of mass murderers, or of people who were victims, and there is some kind

of relationship between Mars and Pluto. Mars, the planet of war, Pluto the destroyer. They get an extremely high resonance when in Scorpio! Only looking at the upper part of the chart we have: Point of Murder, Point of Disaster conjunct Pluto, The Anareta is the highest point in his chart, on the South Node, Point of end on the cusp of the 9th house of studies, and house of law. Praespe, the fixed star is in the 8th house, in Leo. The other important points to look at are the Nodes. In the chart I made, the nodes fell on the 4-10 house axis. The South Node in the 10th. Steven Forrest, in his book: “Astrology and Reincarnation” writes: “… people “remember” lifetimes in which they were somehow famous, or in which they participated in pivotal historic turning points.” The South Node would push a person be remembered in history in a negative way. “There are unsolved issues from the past that haunt this individual in the present tense.” Well, all we can hear now in the US news, is that they want to take away all the guns and weapons from people. This will raise a great scandal, even a war. Since the killing in Aurora people bought more guns, and ammunitions. What will develop of this situation, if they will have to turn the weapon in to the police? But, getting back to James’s map: He was a clever student, but something happened 1 or two years ago, when he “met” Jupiter. In the natal chart his Jupiter is stationary. At the age of 2 it

turned direct. We don’t know anything about his childhood. But this surfaced when he got 22-23, and he started to buy guns. The act was triggered, when transiting Mars squared transit Pluto, and made an opposition to Tr. Uranus. Also, big actions, sudden actions are under the effect of Jupiter and Uranus. This angle too was prominent in other killings in history. Based on Sepharial’s degrees on the Zodiac, Uranus in transit on the day of the killing, was at 7 Aries, is the degree of life and death.

In the news now: James sent to his psychiatrist his plan in details, a few days before the killing. No one opened the envelope.

Is he capable to stand trial? What else shall we find out about him??

This brings a change in the Ascendant, putting it on 18 Leo. Sepharial teaches us about this degree: Medical ability (18-22^). And he was a medical student. Due to the change in the hour, we receive the Moon at 29.42 in Virgo, in the second house, of self-esteem. Steven Forrest writes about 2nd house Node: “The feeling in the soul that we could have written a great novel, and did not. Uranus, Saturn, the Vertex, Mercury and the Sun- all are in the 5th house, in Sagittarius.
