It is one of a series of four Standards which collectively supersede and amalgamate AS 1575–1974, and AS 1576 1576–1 –197 974, 4, SAA Metal Tubes, couplers and accessories used in metal scaffolding and Scaffolding Code which will be withdrawn on 30 June 1992.
