Description

ARUBA AP 60 and 61 ACCESS POINTS The Aruba AP-60 and AP-61 are single radio (dual-band 802.11a or b/g) high-performance indoor wireless access points, capable of supporting multiple functions including: 

WLAN access

Air monitoring/wireless intrusion detection and prevention

Secure enterprise mesh across the 2.4-2.5 GHz and 5 GHz RF spectrums.

The Aruba AP-60 and AP-61 access points support diverse deployment options, delivering secure enterprise mobility services and applications in enterprise, campus and branch office environments, and remotely over public or private networks as a Remote Access Point. Centrally managed from an Aruba controller, the AP-60 and AP-61 empower the network administrator with unparalleled control over services, security and deployment models. The AP-60 supports external antennas through dual, detachable antenna interfaces and the AP-61 supports dual, integral, high-performance omni-directional multi-band antennas

ARUBA WIRELESS CONTROLLER (3000 Series) The Aruba 3200 is designed for the small/branch offices while the Aruba 3400 and Aruba 3600 are designed for medium/large enterprise or dense office deployments. The 3000 series is easily installed without disrupting the existing wired network. The Aruba 3000 series act as the head-end portion of Aruba's virtual enterprise network architecture, which uses central controllers in the data center to manage complex and processing-intensive management and security functions. Edge services are virtualized and implemented in cost-effective access points (APs) at the network edge, which move user traffic to data center controllers through secure IP tunnels over a public or private transport network. Running the Aruba OS operating system, the Aruba 3000 series comes standard with advanced authentication, encryption, and wireless radio management; secure enterprise wireless mesh and L2/L3 networking features. Optional Aruba OS software modules deliver additional functionality, including policy enforcement firewall, VPN server, remote access gateway and wireless intrusion prevention. Controller clustering and centralized management allow large enterprise networks with hundreds of controllers to be managed and maintained with minimal staff overhead. A designated master controller can manage multiple local controllers, or for larger networks the Airwave Management Platform.
