About myself Born in Amalapuram, E.Godavari District, A.P, A.P, Sastry Karra grew up in Hyderabad, A.P. My father (Late) Karra. Venkata Rao, uncles and grandfather g randfather were all well versed in vedic astrology. Introduction  Definition of Argala: Argala: According Brihat Brihat Prasara Hora Sha Shastra stra (BPHS); in Sanskrit  Argala means “ definite definite effects of houses and and the planets“. planets“.  Argala keeps in LOCK AND AND KEY THE EFFECTS OF THE PLANET or SIGN concerned and saves these effects from DECAY.

 According to BPHS, if other planets planets are in 2nd, 4th , 5th or 11th houses from a given planet, then it should be known as the Argala combination. The Argala obstructors are 10th for 4th, 12th for 2nd , 9th for 5th and 3rd for 11th houses. For Rahu and Ketu while the  Argala houses are 10th, 12th and 3rd, it’s obstructors are 4th, 2nd and 11th respectively. r example: 

From Saturn if planets are in 2 nd   , 4 th  or 11 th  houses, then it is an Argala combination for Saturn only. Then the Antardasa of the planets in 2 nd , 4th and 11th houses  houses (from Saturn’s residence) during the mahadasa of Saturn will see the Argala effects.



From Jupiter, there are planets in 2 nd   , 4 th  houses only and there are planets in 12 th  and 3 rd  houses, then the Argala effect of 2nd house will be nullified since there is an obstructor in 12 th house.

The highest Argala effect from Saturn during Antardasa of Rahu is highly noticeable. Saturn a Benefic being lord of 4 th  and 5 th  houses had locked the 11 th  (Labha-stanam) house from itself during the Rahu antardasa. Since the lock was at a very young age, being the lord of both basic and advanced education, Saturn had provided the needed gains in her education career. Venus/Ketu period has the only Argala effect ((2014-08 2014-08 thru 2015-10). 2015-10 ).



Venus being Lord of 1st and 8th houses is in LIBRA LIBRA (its OWN house), cojoined with Mercury (Lord of 12th house –  Place  Place for cure).



Rahu is in 8th house, thus Ketu being in 2nd house.

  Transit

Saturn Saturn will be be touching Natal Natal Venus until until 2014-Nov 2014-Nov and then then

goes to 2nd house where it touches Natal Ketu and will have a direct aspect on natal Rahu in 8th house. 
