APPLICATION ON BEHALF OF SH. SUNIL GUPTA, RESIDENT OF H.NO. A-1/647-648, SECTOR-6, ROHINI, NEW DELHI FOR REHNUMAI THROUGH VIDEO CONFERENCING ON 07.05.2018 MOST RESPECTFULLY SHOWETH:

1. That the aforesaid FIR being RC-DAI-2018-A-0013 u/s 120B IPC r/w Section 7, 12, 13(2) r/w 13 (1) (d), PS CBI/ACB/NEW DELHI was registered on 04.04.2018. 2. That the applicant has been arraigned as an accused in the said FIR. 3. That the applicant was arrested on 04.04.2018 itself and was remanded to police custody for 4 days by this Hon’ble Court vide order dated 05.04.2018.

 

4. That thereafter on 09.04.2018, 09.04.2018, upon an application application by the investigating agency, the applicant was remanded to judicial custody till 23.04.2018 as his custodial interrogation was no longer required. 5. That on 23.04.2018 upon an application moved by the investigating agency the applicant was remanded to a further  judicial custody custody till 07.05.2018. 07.05.2018. 6. That it is submitted that the Applicant is a chronic diabetes patient and therefore he needs his routine food and prescription medicines on time. 7. That rehnumai in person is exhausting for the Applicant and it takes a toll on his health as he is unable to take his food and prescription medicines on time. 8. That therefore, it is prayed that this Hon’ble Court may conduct con duct Applicant’s rehnumai through video-conferencing. video -conferencing. 9. That the present application is being made

bonafide   and

in

the interest of justice. 10. That grave prejudice would be caused to the Applicant if the present application is not allowed. 11. That no prejudice pr ejudice would be caused to t o the prosecution prose cution if the present application is not allowed.

 

PRAYER

It is most respectfully prayed that this Hon’ble Court may be pleased to:1. Direct that the rehnumai fixed for 07.05.2018 be conducted through video-conferencing. 2. Pass any such order(s) as it may deem fit and proper in the interest of justice.
