5 Installing the Cables In this chapter chapter, the color or the appearance of the equipment are for reference only only。The The actual equipment may differ from what is shown in the figures.

General principles for routing the cables 1

a cannot be bound in the same bundle. Cables in Different types of cables must be separately routed and each bundle or any two bundles cannot be entangled d.

2

The cables must be bundled tightly and neatly neatly. The jackets of the cables are not damaged damaged.

3

Labels or nameplates must be attached to the cabless after they are installed.

4

The cables of different types must be routed in parallel or separated by special objects.

5

7 Installing the Batteries an nd their Cables a Installing the Batteries Before installing the batteries, set the battery MCB labeled BAT B to OFF to disconnect the equipment from the battery. Finish the installation, set the BAT to ON. During the installation of the batteries, use insulated tools such as wrenches and screwdrivers, and do not reversely connect the positive and negative poles. Otherwise, the batteries may burn, and the ope erations may cause human injuries injuries.

The outer air circulation fan in the IBBS200 0T stops in a normal situation (with the ambient temperature of lower than 30°C), and the inner air circulation fan rotates in a high speed. The outer air circulation fan in the APM30H H stops in a normal situation (with the ambient temperature of lower than 35°C), and the inner air circulation fan rotates in a low speed.

d Checklist for the Cable Installaation 1

The connectors of each cable are securely connected, especially those at the bottom of the cabinet.

2

All cables are neatly bound with cable ties, and arranged at even intervals, to proper tightness, and in the same direction.

3

The power cable and PGND cable are route ed separately from other cables.

4

The cables are distributed in a way to facilittate maintenance and capacity expansion.

5

Both ends of each cable are legible. That iss, both ends of the cable are labeled.

6

Extra cable ties are stripped off. All cuts are e smooth without sharp projections.

7

The idle port that no cable is connected to is properly protected.

8

According to the APM30H capacity, ensure that all the MCBs are in normal status and the MCBs for the batteries are set to ON. When n the mains works without voltage or with under voltage, the batteries can provide backup power p for the APM30H.

Ensure that the edge of the wire is not split.

Insert the conductors into the holes. That is, insert the red cable connected to the positive pole into hole 1 and blue cable connected to the negative pole into hole 2. Hole for the conductor Sliding block

The conductor should be in the center of the holes. The conductor should be perpendicular to the holes. The depth of the conductor into the hole should be not less than 11 mm.

The conductor is deviated from the center of the hole.

Push back the sliding blocks until they are in position. Then, check whether the conductors are secure by gently pulling the cables.

The conductor is not perpendicular to the hole.

The conductor is not perpendicular to the hole.

If the conductor slides outward or the wire of the conductor is exposed outside the hole for the conductor, remove the conductor, cut the split wires, and then strip the jacket and install the conductor again.
