Introduction to Scientific Inquiry For this activity you need to wrap 6 items in boxes and number them 1 to 6. Each lab group should receive one of these lab papers to record the group’s activities/observations. Try to wrap different weighted/scented/shaped items in each box. I have used DD batteries, coffee grinds, pennies, a broken up clementine, and paper clips in the past. Have the groups circulate to each station. Answer the questions as a class following the activity. This is a great first day of school activity!! Have Fun!
