HOW TO CHANGE AISG CABLE
1. SET ALDPWRSW to OFF 2. Replace AISG cable. 3. SET ALDPWRSW to ON

1. If the RCU’s serial number is null or empty after executing the SCN ALD command, first try to reconfigure or add the RCU’s serial number thru ADD RET command and manually encoding the serial number and vendor code, before changing the RCU device.
2. Try to remove configured device/s first and then reconfigure/add the device/s after.

4. For ALD Current Out of Range Alarm, first check any loosed connections on ALD line especially the connectors from RF unitJumper cable to Jumper-Feeder connectors, Feeder-Jumper connectors JumperTMA/SMBT connectors. And then, SET ALDPWRSW to OFF and then ON. Also check that the current consumption is within the current limit set.
5. For MOTOR FAULT ERROR alarm, check also the Edowntilt gear part of the antenna where the RCU is connected.

7. RET Antenna Running Data and Configuration Mismatch alarm, make sure the configured and current tilt is the same. Check using DSP ANTTILT.
8. For TMA set-up, If you cannot configure the device on normal Ant Port, try to configure the device on the other Ant Port. Example, Port 0A to 1A, Port 2A to 3A and Port 4A to 5A, which means you have to set the ALDPWRSW of Port 0A to OFF and turn Port 1A to ON before you can configure the RCU or TMA to port 1A. TMA

9. If you faced system busy on running the following commands, it may be because other related command is running or a HW problem on SMBT or RCU. 1. DSP RET OR TMA 2. DSP RETTILT 3. SCN ALD
Make sure no other command is running or take a little time before running the next related command, like, After ADD RET, don’t immediately run LST RET or DSP RETTILT.
