TUNED EXHAUST EXPANSION CHAMBER Because ever-tightening environmental requirements pose such difficult, constant challenges, our goal is to help you comply without giving up performance. Our patented exhaust expansion chamber provides perfect proof. Its ingenious design allows you to recover up to 50% BHP derating, reduce NOx by 60%, or both, depending on your needs. Even better, there are no moving parts, no computers and no air-fuel ratio controllers, and no maintenance is required.

OXIDIZING CATALYTIC CONVERTER Many have tried, but only Ajax delivers a highly successful, field-proven catalytic converter to meet the new environmental guidelines for two-stroke low-emission gas engines. Designed to alleviate the potential worries of oil contamination and pressure spikes, this new product improvement virtually eliminates CO and VOC emissions and greatly reduces formaldehyde emissions. Add this to our patented expansion chamber, and it’s possible to achieve any combination of these benefits, including reduced NOx and/or increased site horsepower ratings.

ELECTRONIC GOVERNING SYSTEM Ajax engineering comes through in another big way with our Integrated Governor Throttle Body, now standard equipment. The IGTB provides excellent speed stability and quick response to load changes. The governor measures engine speed with a magnetic pickup and automatically adjusts fuel gas header pressure as required to maintain desired speed. The IGTB offers the features of simplicity without the requirement for on-site tuning.

FLEXIBLE FUEL HEADER This simple design just makes good sense and saves money. By providing easy access, our new flexible fuel header lets you maintain fuel valves, and even replace them, in a matter of minutes, rather than hours. As an added benefit, the system relieves much of the assembly stress from the gas injection valves.

LUBE SYSTEM For even better reliability, we’ve made a sophisticated divider block system standard issue for our power and compressor cylinders across the line. A solid-state flow monitor provides automatic low- and no-flow shutdown to prevent damage to the engine in the case of pump failure. With fewer moving parts, less tubing and only a few pumps required, the system is a model of userfriendly efficiency.
