Purpose The purpose of this dictionary is to provide a list of all the abbreviations, both approved and nonapproved, which may be found on an Airbus aircraft, In documentation or in related data and information. This list is sorted by abbreviation in alphabetical sequence and each abbreviation is followed by the title or meaning of the abbreviation . The fact that an abbreviation Is listed in this dictionary does not signify that it Is approved for current or future use .

Selection of Abbreviations for Current Use This dictionary Is for information purposes only and it Is not be used by Engineers and Authors as a source of abbreviations for current use . Abbreviations which have approval and are therefore available for current use are listed in ABD0037 .

Approved Abbreviations Abbreviations which already have approval for current and future use are listed in : ` ABDO037 - Airbus Approved Abbreviations Handbook (AAAH) This ABD also contains Information concerning the proposal, approval and listing of new abbreviations .
