In the first option you decide "hether you "ant to use the time shift option. his mode makes it possile to stop the current transmission at any moment y pressing the   .A$%E utton and resume it after a reak y pressing the .+A) utton. -nother option allo"s you to s"itch on or off the uffering of data gathered y the ime$hift function. his means that once you press the RE# utton, the contents of the uffer "ill e recorded and the recording shall e continued. his option is inactive y default, "hich means that once you press the RE# utton, the receiver "ill start recording from that moment on.

In this menu you can also determine the type of recorded files. -ll data are recorded in $ (transport stream) format or in an areviated version, "ith only the default sound and video in 8 (imer settings his menu serves to programme up to & different events. 0vents enale the automatic s"itching on and off of the receiver to a previously planned programme.
