A STUDY ON STRESS MANAGEMENT WITH REFERENCE TO SPINACH TECHNOLOGIES

INTRODUCTION Stress is an inevitable part of today‟s fast life. In this age of globalization and liberalization of the economy, competition among organizations has increased. Managers attempt to outperform one another to reach the top. Therefore, modern organizations are facing the problems of the executive stress and burnout. Individuals and organizations have to pay economic and human cost due to these problems. Stress is the order of the day and it is impossible to be entirely without stress.

OBJECTIVES OF THE STUDY  To analyze the reasons for the stress of an individual.  To analyze the methods to overcome the stress of employees.  To identify the consequences of stress  To know the overall opinion about the employer employee relationship.

NEED FOR THE STUDY The study is required to understand the stress level of the employees, to find out various factors that leads to stress, how the team performs when there is high stress and the method to overcome stress.

SCOPE OF THE STUDY •

The study helps the company to know about their satisfaction level when their stress is high among the respondents.

• To provide solution to the company about the current position of stress of employees and their performance level.

MEANING OF RESEARCH: The advanced learners‟ dictionary of current English lays down the meaning research as, “An investigation or enquiry through search for new facts in any branch of knowledge”. Research is thus, an original contribution to the existing stock of knowledge making for its advancement. It refers to the systematic method consisting the facts or data, analyzing the facts and reaching certain conclusion either in the form of solution towards the concerned problem or in certain generalization for some theoretical formulation.

RESEARCH DESIGN

The formidable problem that follows the task of defining the research problem is the preparation of the design of the research project, population known as the „research design‟. The research was carried to find out customer satisfaction of services. An overall survey has been conducted to find out Hence this study design is descriptive in nature.

DESCRIPTIVE RESEARCH Descriptive research includes surveys and fact –finding enquires of different kinds. The major purpose of descriptive research id descriptor of state of affairs, as it exists as a present. The main characteristic of this method are that the researcher has no control over the variables; he can only report what has happened or what is happening. The methods of research utilized in descriptive research are survey method of all kinds, including comparative and correlation methods.

METHOD OF DATA COLLECTION: PRIMARY DATA:

Primary data is based upon the Questionnaire from the customer. The primary data is directly collected from the customer by the use of Questionnaire. It is to understand the customers‟ thoughts, expectation and feelings and preference as well.

SECONDARY DATA Secondary data consist of data gathered for some other purpose. The researcher collected secondary data from the books of authors, company records, research journals, internet, articles, magazines, newspapers. It is based upon the Questionnaire Method. Formulation of Questionnaire: To get the required information, well-structured questionnaire was designed. The questionnaire included the closed-end questions and open end. Sample Design:Sample Size: The sample size is 150.

Sampling Technique: The concept of sampling also plays in important role in the process of identifying, developing and understanding new market concepts the need to be investigated by the researcher, here the sampling population is the share investor in Chennai were considered for the study. Therefore “Simple Random sampling” is adopted.
