Progress. It‘s that simple.
1.) Networkview
to visualize all participants in the network
2.) WEB Monitor
to have access to commissioning aids supported by SIPROTEC-devices to communicate, based on MMS communication, between client and server to get or load the configuration file of the switch
The program identifies all IP-addresses Configurations can be saved and printed out Direct access to all participants with right mouse-click via telnet or http

The Online Mode Power Automation
Progress. It‘s that simple.
Edit => Monitor Nodes ( adjust the scanning cycle for the polling of all devices) The recommended polling cycle (10 s ) depends on the no. of devices. The shorter the polling time the higher the network data flow, i.e. if you have 200 devices you should set the polling time to 60-120 seconds. The default timeout shouldn‘t be changed

Progress. It‘s that simple.
to get the configuration file of the switch
To get the file: tftp 192.168.1.21 get config.csv c:\temp\config.csv IP-Address Destination Folder
For diagnosis (syslog.txt and crashlog.txt): i.e. tftp 192.168.1.21 get syslog.txt c:\temp\syslog.txt IP-Address Destination Folder
Editing the config.csv we recommend Excel or notepad 05/2007

FEC-Statistics Power Automation
Progress. It‘s that simple.
RSTP-Role Chan1/2 = Alternate/Root If theSIPROTEC 4 devices are arranged in a ring, and the ring is closed and connected to the external switches which are also on, one device on the FEC side must always display the above text. If none of the devices in the ring does, the ring is physically broken. FilterSymErrCntChan1/2 = 0/2753 If these two counters are incremented during stable operation of the device, and with neither of the two adjacent devices turned off, there is a poor FO connection. This can be due to an excessive attenuation by the coupling devices, or to a defective cable. FNS queue overflow = 0 If this display is not equal zero, this suggests that there are circulating broadcast telegrams. Frames Loss = 0 A value that is not zero indicates circulating multicast telegrams.
