Golden flaxseed meal provides 150 calories and 12 grams of fat. Hemp seeds provide 160 calories and 12 grams of fat. Chia seeds provide 137 calories and 9 grams of fat. English walnuts provide almost 200 calories and 20 grams of fat. Cashews provide 163 calories and 12 grams of fat.

Nut butters average 100 calories per tablespoon and between 8-9 grams of fat depending upon the nut. Greek coconut milk yogurt provides 130 calories and 5 grams of fat for every 6 ounces.

Coconut Milk When using coconut milk in your smoothies choose the variety that comes in cans. This type of coconut milk provides 150 calories and 16 grams of fat per 1/3 cup serving. Coconut fat is also a medium chain fatty acid which means easier digestion and better absorption of the calories and nutrients you need to gain weight.
