How to configure 3G data card with DVR
1) Upgrade the DVR with the latest 3G supported data card firmware Version V1.2.2, Build 121116 or above. 2) After up-gradation you will find a 3G option under DVR menu.
3) Connect the 3G data card dongle in the USB port and make DVR default once and reboot.

Make: HUAWEI
E173, EC159, EC1260, E303C
Tested ISP Providers: AIRTEL, MTNL, AIRCEL, IDEA, TATA Docomo
4) If ISP provide will be well know like AIRTEL, MTNL, AIRCEL,IDEA, TATA Docomo the APN setting will detect automatically. Otherwise need to enter APN manually. Steps for manual configuration: Menu->3G -> Username -> Password-> Dial number->APN->Apply-> OK.

5) After confirmation of APN, a Public IP will be generated by ISP provider. This IP will be Dynamic means it will change on every reboot of DVR or as per ISP policy. Solution for static IP: we can register DVR on HIKVISION DDNS Server.
6) Here with we also providing a feature to send alert via SMS, alerts can be based on motion detection, video loss, HDD error etc. Configuration: Click to the Whitelist and insert the mobile no. with Country code for example in India its +919320xxxxxx
Note: we can send the alert to max. 8 numbers at same time.

7) By using the public IP we can view the camera on web.
Note: Public IP address generated by Data Card will be dynamic, so in that case need to register your DVR on our DDNS server at www.hik-online.com .
