Assembly is complete and not disassembled. A complete unit includes spring, cup, plunger, barrel adapter and retainer. 2. Core is a style offered for exchange by Cummins ReCon. 3. Core must be returned with plastic protective sleeves (re-use from replacement injectors). inj ectors). Interior surfaces and components, such as rods, or any machined surface can only have light flash rust. Heavy rust due to improper storage is not acceptable.

Injectors–Midrange Damaged Core Illustrations Although B & C Series injector damage is rare, it most often occurs as a result of improper removal procedures. The illustration at left shows an example of a Bosch B Series injector with a protruding fuel return outlet damaged beyond repair. This core will not be acceptable for exchange. Note: The injector hold down nut must must be returned with B Series Injector Injector core. (see illustration). If the hold down nut is missing the core may be subject to rejection.
