Location: Shady Grove, Pa., U.S. The Shady Grove facilities offer state-of-the-art classrooms; hands-on lab workstations; a computer lab for training on GPX2, GPX3, CAPX and D3; and Crane Care’s new Global Technical Library (GTL). The Product Training Center accommodates multiple products for troubleshooting — including larger GMK models — and has a GMK4100 and MDT178 dedicated solely for training purposes.

Location: Manitowoc, Wis., U.S. The Manitowoc facilities offer extensive hands-on training labs. These labs have been designed to help technicians become more familiar with the Manitowoc product while confirming their knowledge in hydraulic, electric and pneumatic theory and operation. All training labs are structured to provide you with the knowledge you need to reach your maximum level of productivity and safety.

Crane Care mobile simulator • Th  e Crane Care mobile simulator, which is based on the Manitowoc 2250, is ready for operator training. This simulator offers fixed and luffing boom configurations and a fully functional load moment indicator. It can also assist with preparing your operators for crane certification.

Locations: La Clayette, Lyon, Marseille, Paris — France The French facilities offer state-of-the-art classrooms, an extensive hands-on training lab and 10 cranes to help technicians, erector operators and crane operators become more familiar with the Potain tower cranes. The French facilities are among the best equipped training centers anywhere in the world to instruct technicians in troubleshooting, erecting and operating all types of tower cranes. Our benches are structured to provide knowledge at a maximum level of productivity and safety.

Location: Wilhelmshaven — Germany The Wilhelmshaven facility offers state-of-the-art classrooms and a hands-on lab workstation. The Product Training Center accommodates multiple products for troubleshooting, including larger GMK models borrowed from the production line. From GMK 4080 up to GMK 7450, GTK 1100, GSK 55 and TMC 540. For the GCK and RT product lines, we have the option to use rented cranes from companies nearby.

Location: Niella — Italy The Niella facility offers efficient training classrooms and a hands-on training lab with more Potain crane simulators, enabling students to use hands-on troubleshooting skills, to become more familiar with hydraulic, electric and crane erection/dismantling. In the test field there are two tower cranes dedicated for training purposes covering crane operation, maintenance and technical content such as the interference limiter (Top Tracing II). For specific trainings on Grove RT 530/540 and GMK 2 and 3 axles, we usually use cranes borrowed from the factory based by the training field.

Location: Passo Fundo — Brazil The Passo Fundo facility offers a classroom for intermediate-level training in RT and National Crane models. São Paulo office offers a classroom to conduct basic training in GMK and Manitowoc CAN-Bus and EPIC technology.

The training center has an MC85 tower crane dedicated for training purposes, providing trainees with Crane Operation, Maintenance and Technical courses. The courses are also designed to provide the necessary skill and technical knowledge of the latest tower crane models.

Location: Singapore The Singapore facility offers an efficient training classroom and hands-on lab workstations as well as crane function/LMI training simulators, which are all designed to equip technicians with the necessary skills and technical knowledge of the latest crane models.

Manitowoc Crane Care E-Training Manitowoc Crane Care E-Training provides participants with a cost-effective way of building fundamental hydraulic and electrical knowledge. While not intended to replace the “hands on” training held at our Manitowoc and Shady Grove facilities, E-Training courses provide flexible schedules, eliminate travel time and are a great way to prepare for on-site training or refresh current skills.
