FracGuard Series Composite Bridge Plug ( BP6 and BP10 )
The Weatherford FracGuard™ Series Composite Bridge Plug isolates zones during high-pressure stimulation. The composite body and component construction of the plug allows rapid drillout with common workover-type bits. The lightweight cuttings produced lift easily and do not pile up on plugs below when used in multiple-plug applications. FracGuard™ composite bridge plugs are available in standard and highpressure/high-temperature (HPHT) versions. The BP6 standard bridge plug is rated to 6,000 psi differential pressure from above and below at temperatures up to 250ºF. The Bp10 HPHT version is rated to 10,000 psi differential pressure from above and below at temperatures up to 300ºF. Both the standard and the HPHT bridge plugs can be run on tubing, drillpipe, coiled tubing, or wireline using conventional bridge-plug setting equipment.
Features ! Holds full differential pressure from above and below ! Beveled bottom prevents body from spinning, thus decreasing drillout time
Benefits ! Allows multiple plugs to be run to isolate a series of zones ! Saves time by allowing quick drillout with conventional tri-cone or junk-mill bits ! Lightweight cuttings lift easily and minimize plugging of surface equipment ! Allows underbalanced drillout of multiple plugs, which protects sensitive formations
Applications ! ! ! !
Single or multiple-zone stimulation Vertical, deviated, horizontal, or multilateral wellbores Underbalanced, multiple-zone completions Temporary well plugging

FracGuard Series Composite Plug Convertible 6K Bridge/Frac Plug In the image of the successful FracGuardTM 10,000 psi Composite Plug comes the FracGuardTM 6,000 psi Convertible 6K Composite Plug series. An enhanced design that is shorter than the 10K model, it also has less metallic material in the slips. This means faster drillup times. Fabricated from mostly non-metallic material, the plug design provides a variety of mills and bits that can be used in its removal. This unique design of a removeable core allows the onsite tool-hand the ability to convert the plug from a bridge plug to a frac plug within minutes. Once converted to a Frac Plug, the captured ball design permits the plug to be used in a variety of completion scenarios.
Features ! Holds full differential pressure from above and allows flow through the mandrel from below (Frac Plug design) ! Beveled bottom prevents body from spinning, decreasing drillout time ! Ball is pinned in place in the plug to eliminate possible seating problems associated with floating balls ! Reduced length ! Reduced metallic material in slips ! Convertible Bridge to Frac design
Benefits ! ! ! ! !
Multiple plugs may be run to isolate a series of zones Saves time by allowing quick drillout with conventional tri-cone or junk-mill bits Lightweight cuttings lift easily and minimize plugging of surface equipment Reduced length means faster drillup time On site conversion gives more choices during the completion operation
Applications ! Single or multiple-zone stimulation ! Vertical, deviated, horizontal, or multilateral wellbores ! Underbalanced, multiple-zone completions

BRS Bit-Release Sub The Weatherford BRS Bit-Release Sub uses pump pressure to drop the drillbit from the tubing string after the drillout run. This eliminates the need to trip out with drillbit and trip in with production string, saving rig time. The optional drillpipe float valve prevents wellbore fluids from entering the tubing string.
Features Ball-drop disconnect uses pump pressure to release bit Cannot release before actuation Ideal for flanged-up completions Standard drillpipe float profile Torque, tensile, and compression ratings exceed those for production tubing ! Full tubing ID after disconnect ! Wireline entry profile on bottom of tubing string ! Fishing neck on lower sub simplifies bit retrieval ! ! ! ! !
Benefits ! Saves rig time by eliminating trips ! Saves money by eliminating work string rental ! Reliable and dependable design, as shown by the hundreds that have been run to date
Applications ! Only a single trip is needed to clean out and flange up for production

ARM Selective Treating Packer The Weatherford ARM Selective-Treating Packer is a compression-set isolation packer that is run primarily on coiled tubing but can also be run with jointed tubing. The ARM isolates perforations, permitting selective acid, chemical, or fracture treatments. The packer is set by first moving the tubing up and then down, and then applying moderate tubing compression. An internal equalizing valve permits easy packer release and multiple sets. A fluid bypass port that allows wellbore fluids to bypass into the annulus while the packer is run to treating depth is permanently locked closed on the first packer setting. Treating fluids and pressures remain captured between the elements until the packer is equalized with the casing below, before it is moved or retrieved.
Features ! Ideal for use on coiled tubing ! ! ! ! !
Top element permits reverse circulation while the packer is set Bottom element assists in perforation flowback and cleanup before the packer is released Straddle spacing is easily field-adjustable in 3-ft lengths Caged carbide-trim slips ensure dependable setting in all grades of casing High tensile-strength connections between elements
Benefits ! Permits high treatment pressures with minimal tubing compression ! ! ! ! ! ! !
Reduces triaxial stresses on lower end of the tubing string No tubing rotation required to set or release the packer Compact design maximizes straddle spacing length in the lubricator Fluid bypass allows the annulus to fill while running to depth Treatment is contained between the elements until the packer is released Treatment can be reverse-circulated around the upper element while the packer is set Simple to field dress and change spacing intervals
Applications ! Selective perforation acidizing, fracturing, and chemical treatments ! !
