1.1 Speech by Head of English Language Panel The Panel Recommended appreciation for the attendance. Hopes all teachers will give their full commitment and cooperation. All members should work together in order to improve English Language.

2.1 Confirmation of the previous minutes’ report. The Panel No arguments for the previous minutes’ report. The minutes were fully accepted.

3.1 Final Year Result and UPSR result Teachers discussed over the UPSR result and compared the current achievement to previous. For 2015, the information as follow : A = 3 pupils B=9 C = 20 D=1 E=1 GPS = 2.65 PASS = 94.1% FAIL = 5.9%

For 2016, all teachers must work harder and cooperate with each other to achieve better result. 4

4.1 Books 4.1.1 Exercises book The books are required for year 4, 5 and 6 as followed : E1 – Grammar/Vocabulary E2 – Composition E3 – Comprehension E4 – Literature The books are required for year 1,2 and 3 as followed : E1 - Vocabulary + Grammar E2 - Comprehension + Composition

All fails and documents must keep in failing system systematically. If any teachers needed to buy teaching aids, they can use English Panel budget. 6.1 Teaching aids All teachers can get the aids from English Loker and get the soft copy from VLE.

7.1 KSSR Year 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 teacher must make sure that the teaching and learning must follow the document standard of KSSR and be prepared for PPD or JPN to observe till the end of the year.

Year 1,2,3 and 4 teachers

The assessment for Year 1, 2,3. 4, 5 and 6 which is School Based Assessment must be completed in pupils’s individual form to be put in pupils’ development file. The teacher also have to fill in the result in offline PBS system. 8

8.1 NILAM Teacher must guide students on how to write the information in Nilam book. The pupils must be aware of the importance of Nilam programme and teachers should not neglect this. Also strengten the reading in the morning session so that the pupils pay more attention while reading and give full cooperation.

9.1 DSKP, HSP, RPT, DK and DP All teachers are compulsary to have those items in the file and Lesson Plan note.

10.1 ENGLISH CARNIVAL / PROGRAM

The Panel 10.1.1 Speaking Corner This year Pekan PPD wants every schools need to have atleast 30% pupils could talk in English fluently. English Panel will have English Corner in the canteen so pupils can perform/talk/sing once a week in canteen. 10.1.2 Carnival English Carnival in April 2016. The categories are story telling, action songs and pidato. All English teachers need to train pupils so that they can achive higher echivement in district and country . Meeting adjourned at 11.15 am.
