G.T. AIR INLET SYSTEM

New gas Turbine Air Inlet System is provided for an up and forward arrangement and consists of: 2 stage high efficiency filter. (Option 2 stage filter GDX reverse flow Pulse-Jet self cleaning filter) − Blow-in door and relevant instrumentation − Air inlet duct (carbon steel epoxy painted) from the filter chamber to the gas turbine inlet plenum, − 2,5 m (baffles) silencer − C. S. supporting structure and ladders −

ACOUSTICAL ENCLOSURE

Acoustical Enclosure, suitable for outdoor installation, is to be anchored on the unit base plat, no foundation is required. The enclosure, supplied with loose walls and roof, to be erected at site, is provided to assure acoustical abatement and thermal separation to the outside. The expected average sound attenuation is 90 dB(A) pressure level at one meter from the enclosure. The Acoustical enclosure shall be accessible by ladders and walkways The following equipment and system are provided inside the enclosure: − Fire detection system with thermal type detectors − CO2 fire extinguishing system (piping and spray nozzles) − Internal A.C. and D.C. emergency lighting − Ventilation system complete with A.C. motor driven fan − Conveying ventilation system ducts

The Speed Reduction Gear, located between the turbine and the generator, is coupled to the G.T. exhaust plenum, with 5100/3000 rpm ratio, and provided with the following auxiliary facilities: − Seismic type vibration detector, located on the gear case and connected with the G.T. monitoring and protection system − Bearing embedded RTD's for the bearings temperature control 2.6
