DTC C120A: ECU INITIAL SETTING INCOMPLETE [08/2013 - ] DESCRIPTION

w/ Downhill Assist Control or w/ Crawl Control: When must the master cylinderthat solenoid (skid is control ECU) is replaced, master cylinder (skid control ECU) be informed the vehicle equipped with downhill the assist control and/orsolenoid crawl control. DTC Code

C120A

DTC Detection Condition The master cylinder solenoid is not informed that the vehicle is equipped with downhill assist control or crawl control and downhill assist control or crawl control operates.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE PROCEDURE

1. PERFORM CALIBRATION  a. Perfor Perform m calib calibrat ration ion.. Refer Refer to CALIBRATION [08/2013 - ] .

NOTE NO TE::

If a DTC DTC is ou outp tput ut afte afterr re repl plac acin ing g th the e mast master er cyli cylind nder er so sole leno noiid, it is possible that calibration has not been performed or the zero point calibration data was not cleared when calibration was performed.

NEXT: Go to next step  

2. CHECK FOR DTC  a. Chec Check k for for DTCs DTCs.. Refe Referr to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [08/2013 - ]  . RESULT 

Result DTC C120A is output DTC C120A is not output

Proceed to A B

B --> END  A: Go to next step  

3. CHECK TEST MODE DTC  a. Switch the the vehicle to test mode, perform perform the downhill downhill assist assist control control switch or crawl switch signal signal check, and then check that DTC C1379 is cleared. Refer to TEST MODE PROCEDURE [08/2013 - ] .
