Patent 5,728,428) KF-B is a coating that works naturally with concrete/masonry to stop seeping leaks. KF-B is cement-based and penetrates into the concrete to the depth of the deterioration, regenerating the old concrete and becoming an integral part of the structure, rather than a separate foreign layer on top of it. There is no flaking, bubbling, or peeling, and no expansion or contraction due to temperature changes. Unlike epoxy coatings, a layer of KF-B will not allow water to pass through even if the coating is broken or chipped. KF-B permanently stops any slow leaks in basements, garages, underground structures, sewer systems, etc. It works best on constantly damp or wet surfaces. There is no need to dry the surface before application. KF-B is also highly resistant to corrosion and works even in highly acidic environments such as sewer systems. KF-B is ready to use right out of the bag - just mix 3 parts of the KF-B powder with 1 part water by volume and apply the paste by trowel, brush or roll. No special surface preparation is needed - it just needs to be free of any loose material and damp or wet.
