NSTP 1-National Service Training Program-Common Module
NSTP 1-National Service Training Program – Common Module 3 units In accordance with the RA 9163, otherwise known as the National Service Training Program Act of 2001, the National S Service ervice Training Program (NS (NSTP) TP) w was as implemented and formed part of the curriculum of all baccalaureate degree courses and of at least two (2) year technical vocational courses and is a requisite for graduation in coordination with the Technical Education and Skills Development (TESDA) and the Department of the National Defense. The program aimed at enhancing civic consciousness and defense preparedness in the youth by developing the ethics of service and patriotism while undergoing training in any of the three (3) program components – components – Reserve Officers’ Training Corps (ROTC), Literacy Training Service (LTS) and (LTS) and Civic Welfare Training Service (CWTS). Moreover, after completing the program, the LTS and CWTS graduates are expected to be part of the National Service Reserve Corps (NSRC) whom the state may tap for literacy and civic welfare activities especially in times of calamities. This module focuses on the five (5) topics mentioned in the Rule III Program Implementation, Section4. Coverage, Paragraph c. of the implementing Rules and Regulations of RA 9163. Students enrolled in t he first semester of the freshman year are required to undergo a common module phase for 25hours before pursuing specific component of their choice. During this phase, the students are expected to gain knowledge, skills, and attitude towards deepened understanding and heightened appreciation of their role in the promotion of common good and the general welfare. Further, they are expected to demonstrate learning by applying concepts and principles on practical situations in pursuit of community development for the task of nation building.

Advance their involvement in civic and public af fairs. Tree Planting/Growing Activity
The students are given the opportunity to be exposed to a community extension/outreach program in order to apply the principles and processes in teaching literacy and numeracy skills that they learned in the course. Through this activity, they are given first-hand experience to teach the youth and enhance their skills. The students are expected to participate in a plant plant plant program of DENR to sustain the basic needs of the family and participate in other civic related activities first at home up to their respective community. The activity should be well-documented and be done individually.

Just go to office.com. and login using your @student.tsu.edu.ph account, account, choose Teams from the list of applications, from there your enrolled subjects will appear. 2. 2. To uphold delivery of quality instruction, the class may also use added online platforms and applications like Zoom Cloud Meeting, FB Messenger, Viber, WhatsApp, and the like. 3. 3.
