TECHNIQUE (QW-410) Clean the Weld areas and adjacent areas of oil , grease, rust etc. Assemble components as per contract drawing. Tack weld by SMAW Process ensuring that the tacks become an acceptable part o f the root run. Complete root run by SMAW Process.
