This course covers in-depth details and considerations for planning, designing and migrating a traditional data center to Virtualized Data Center (VDC) and Cloud Infrastructures. This course uses an ‘open’ approach focusing on core concepts, principles, and technologies, rather than specific products. To provide context, the course and certification include EMC and partner specific examples.

Audience This course is intended for architects, designers and consultants who are involved in the planning and design of Virtual Data Center components, including applications, servers, storage, networks and services.

Prerequisite Knowledge/Skills To understand the content and successfully complete this course, a student should be a technical professional with three or more years of design experience in storage, operating systems, networking, business continuity and disaster recovery.
